Our hitters are so poorly coached, it’s embarrassing. Not one of them knows how to work up a pitch count

He has looked good for the most part. I’d like to see the pitch count lower but this is just who Hess is at this point. He’s not going to pitch complete games like Nola. But if he can give us 6-7 innings of 1 run ball every time out then we’re in good shape with him.
