Regardless of how you feel about Cain, this is the advantage/disadvantage of a quick coaching search vs our mess of search. The assistants are left to the wild of if whoever will be coach wants them or not. A ok/good thing if the assistants arnt good, a really bad thing if they’re good though as poaching is inevitable then

3rd base coaching left a lot to be desired, but the guy was one of the best recruiters in the country and was good at getting kids to campus and not losing them to the draft. Dude also hung around and won NC at LSU when he could have transferred for playing time. I bitched about his decisions to send and hold runners, but at the end of the day he’s still a Tiger for life. I’ll root for him when he’s not playing LSU.

Correct. Some things have leaked but it hasn't been a whole lot. I've been perfectly honest with what concrete evidence I've had. I've also been perfectly honest that things were sealed really tight at times - I believe alot of things were made up during those quiet times. It's truly been quiet as a mouse for awhile now. Everyone is just guessing at this point.
