Why do y'all think that when a Texas kid stays home, it's because they were paid too much money, but when a LA kid stays home it's because he's a dog who just loves his state?

You can't even say it's all about the money. I'm sure lsu was offering him the same amount of money. He is an elite 5 star that can play either side of the ball.

All that hype up for him just to stay committed I always felt like he wasn’t going anywhere especially when he didn’t decommit after Jimbo got fired.

The way this thing played out - the support the kid got from hometown during his pre teen years was the overriding factor. Given his life experiences to date, not sure any amount of money is worth breaking that bond

Because we’re an elite football program and Texas A&M is not? Do you remember how many elite Louisiana kids were staying home in the early 90’s when we were a sub par program like A&M? Not very many
