Because Dardenne has shown himself to be more honorable than JBE? I total disagree with JBE's politics, but you know where he stands. If you're gonna talk about swamp rats, then Dardenne is the leader of the pack. Hell, he's a large part of why JBE was even elected.

Dardenne did some legal work for me. He deserves the shite he gets politically imho, so I'm not knighting for him. But one thing you should never doubt, is his love for LSU and for LSU athletics. He's a diehard. True purple and gold. Just like Carville and many others I disagree with on politics. But I NEVER doubt their love for LSU whatever else divides us.
