Your timing is off. I believe there was 1:39 left before second down. Thus with your strategy, there would have been more like 55 seconds left, not under 30 seconds. And if Cincinnati only kicked a FG plenty of time for Denver to go down and kick one.
The real problem was the Cincy RB getting hurt and the Bengals having to stop the clock. Too bad the NFL doesn't penalize you by taking away the timeout but still have the option to start the clock again.

Cade York nearly lost that game. He will not stick missing a 33 yd FG in OT and the one last week. No excuse.

Personally I'm glad he is an idiot ...
That OT performance by Burrow and Higgins may have helped me win my fantasy championship I'm in a screwed up league at work that locks after the first game of the week and I lost Chubba Hubbard to IR after the roster lock. The two of them hooking up for 3 TDs and Joe adding a 4th gave me enough points that I think I can overcome the lack of one of my RBs
