Yes and No.

If you look at Lordstown Wiki, it does appear they are still functioning at some capacity, but it isn't the vehicle production (endurance trucks) and they are selling the project.

As mentioned in my post, not sure how this effects JBs contract but it MAY open up some opportunity to cancel/void a contract.

Lordstown may still have stocks being traded, but that doesn't mean their business model (for which JB signed a contract) is still intact in a legal sense. You don't know the contract verbiage. Nor do I.

It’s talked about so many times on this board. It’s getting ridiculous that some of you still bring it up.

He is an investor in an Electric Truck start up. He won’t be in the Heisman House commercials because Nissan is a direct competitor with his investment.

Ok here you go. JD and JB are walking together up the sidewalk to the Heisman House. Jayden has a brotherly hand on Joe’s back to steady him. Joe is on crutches with a knee brace, calf wrapped and a cast on his right hand.

Two great Tigers go in together.

Joe was in a few commercials before he signed that contract. I remember them using water guns or some other toy. Anyone else remember that commercial?

That was a Nerf commercial.

May be an old statement or question and sorry if I missed the answer

It's been asked and answered very often, I would say dozens of times may not be an exaggeration.

But one last time I guess. The Heisman House is sponsored by Nissan, Joe has an endorsement deal with Lordstown Motors, an EV company located in the area he is from. Because this creates a conflict, Joe is not part of the Nissan Heisman House commercials.

It’s amazing how some in our fan base would prefer a former Tiger in the Heisman House vs beating Bama. It’s the same group that whines if ESPN doesn’t select our game in the pickem portion.

Yes, they are lame and low hanging. Just because YOU find them original and fresh, doesn't mean the rest of the planet should for fear of being called a woman. You sound like knuckle dragging mouthbreather.

It’s trading OTC (Pink Sheets).

Chapter 7 is the “worst” bankruptcy. It’s liquidation. They sold all of their assets in October. Although their former founder bought assessors back for ~$10MM. But for all intents and purposes Lordstown is defunct.

When the company went through bankruptcy I guarantee they had to default on their marketing deal, or at the very least didn’t renew. There is no way you have to sell all of your assesses to pay your creditors and still hold on to a high profile marketing contract.

Gotcha. To me, if I'm someone highly marketable like JB (Heisman winner, #1 pick, Natty winner, contract that pretty much guarantees him being in the NFL while regardless of play) I would have an out in my contract if the company changed direction in a significant way.

For instance, and I'm NOT saying this is whats happening, and electric vehicle mfgr stops producing elec vehicles and switches to gas powered only... or lets say boats. This would change my opinion of the company. I would think people would have an out on their contracts in an event like this.

No?

Normally endorsement contracts are either year to year, or a couple of years of it’s a full campaign (think Flo from Progressive). However, with him being high profile and it being a newer company, they may have given him an ownership which that could have changed things.

Wiki says it filed Chapter 11 (not 7) and that in October a deal was made to sell all of its assets to another company. Stocks in bankrupt companies can continue to trade, but this one looks like it has zero potential to continue in the truck business or grow.

Gotcha. Either way, JB probably doesn't care too much. He's doing well enough ;)

I don't either, but a commercial with both 5 and 9 as roommates or something could be kinda funny and impressive.
