He signed to promote a locally owned Ford dealership in Ohio. I believe it was a friend of his.

Lordstown should do a Lordstown Heisman house with just Joe Burrow sitting on a couch by himself watching film. would probably play well in Cincy.
Would be hard to do being out of business. They never delivered a vehicle and declared bankruptcy a few months ago.

Wiki says it filed Chapter 11 (not 7) and that in October a deal was made to sell all of its assets to another company.
Yeah I see that the conversion to Chapter 7 was not approved and they were allowed to stay in Chapter 11. Then they still sold assets. I think they still have a $1B lawsuit against them out there. I couldn’t find a settlement for it in a quick google search

U.S. bankruptcy court Judge Mary F. Walrath on Monday sided with Lordstown Motors, which successfully fought off a motion by former business partner turned adversary, Foxconn, to either dismiss the case or convert it to Chapter 7 liquidation. “I am going to deny the motion to convert or dismiss at this time and see if the debtor can pursue this,” Walrath said. “There is always the ability of the court to take action if anything changes, but at this stage, I think the debtor has a legitimate reason to pursue the course of action it is on and does not mandate dismissing this case.”

Dumb. Nissan doesn’t compete with the Ohio based electric car company he decided to promote. I’d love to see him in some

However, with him being high profile and it being a newer company, they may have given him an ownership which that could have changed things.
If I were his wealth advisor, I would have told Joe he was on his own with that one.
