He has wheels and a quick crisp throw. I like it!

Les miles would have put our back up in and ran the toss dive every play to end the game

He looks better in those short/ intermediate routes than any QB we have had in the last 5 years

A couple of things:

1. How fun would it be to see an offense run like that up that many points.
2. It would be nice to see a RS Senior play like that for us, much less a True Freshman.

I'm excited for Burrow.

Many other QBs performance extras or goals are this guy's fundamentals.

Assuming all is as appears and he is as good as it looks, our QBs may learn some stuff from him.

Not to say that they haven't been coached up on those things, but we know sometimes it helps drive it home to see a competitive peer do the things.

Very refreshing to see a quarterback throw the football up 55 points in the fourth quarter. I'm so used to seeing us put the backup in mopduty just handing off the football and kneeling. Also I loved his face mask he was wearing in that game.

I was actually impressed with his ability to read the LB separation when he tucked and ran for the TD. That is something LSU has not seen in some time.

Like the video. Thanks for pointing it out. I hope he's everything we need and more.

I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure that was a called QB Draw.

Edit: upon rewatch, it was definitely a QB Draw. You can tell the OL is run blocking and the LG releases to the second level almost immediately.

Meyer throwing when up 62-3 with 3 minutes left

Why couldn’t we have hired an offensive assassin as our HC

As for Burrow, this is the guy we’ve been waiting for

Don't know how any actual LSU fans wouldn't be excited or, at the absolute least, intrigued by this kid starting for us.

Quick drops, super quick release neutralizes any pass rush. If they blitz receivers know to run to the space the linebacker came from. Last night I watched Rohan and Josh Reed/Michael Clayton highlights vs Bama and they absolutely destroyed the Tides defense with 500 yds of dinks and dunks over the middle and an occasional long ball and the announcers were saying paraphrasing "I don't know what Alabama can do to stop this".

Your probably right. I only had a chance to look at the video once. I thought it was a quick read to the corner with a tuck and run as soon as the LB committed to the flat. Either way it was well executed and I don't remember an LSU QB running it as smoothly.

Love the qb draw with a qb that can actually pass and run.
