You really need to stop digging yourself deeper there kid. When your defense for being a massive hypocrite is to hope and pray that I'm also a hypocrite you've already lost badly. And here's the reality while the complaints about Jayden 2 years ago were legitimate yours toward Nuss are 1000% not.

To be fair, Burrow and Daniels both got here in the spring and made their first starts a few months later. This is Nuss's 4th year at LSU

That's not fair at all. Really just makes you a liar. Burrow had 3 yrs at Ohio State, and Daniels had 3 at ASU.

People forget Burrow was under 50% competition for a lot of 2018. He didn't really turn it on until the Rice game then that UCF guy crowned him. There were a lot of threads here mid-2018 asking if Burrow should be the guy.

JD had 225 yards rushing and 2 rushing TDs in those 3 games. I was obviously just showing passing stats though.

And that opened up the running game for the RBs and helped the receivers get open because they had to respect our running game. JD was better than just his counting stats. He made the whole offense better.

But he was a unicorn. Nuss has played really well in his 1st 3 starts. And Burrow and JD did have better receivers to throw to. And the running game is handcuffing him. But that backpedaling and throwing off his back foot is gonna catch up to him eventually. SEC DBs are gonna jump those out routes and he’s gonna wind up throwing some picks and some will be taken to the house for 6.

But they won’t be as much of his fault as they will appear. A QB like him absolutely has to have a running game to compliment him. Otherwise he’s gonna have to take risks and make dangerous throws. He’s played well and is a good QB. He just doesn’t have the running game to compliment his style. Which sucks.

True. 9 games into the season Burrow had 6 TDs and 4 INTs and had a 4 game stretch without a TD pass. He turned it on to finish the season with 10 TDs and 1 INT

Even with poor stats you could tell Burrow was a gamer with wins over Auburn and Georgia. Nuss has an opportunity to make a statement against Ole Miss.

LOL wtf I'm talking about Burrow in 2018 when people were calling for his starting spot, dumbasses

It really really isn't.

The 2018 line ran the ball way better than this OL. We are a 1 dimensional team right now. You shouldn't have to rely on the QB to be your run game. It's like this OL and coaching staff has forgotten how to run block since JD was here.

If that's the case LSU should never recruit another pro style QB.

Nussmeier is amazing.
The notion that we could well waste yet another generational QB is nauseating.

Not knocking Nuss, I think he’s a good QB, but,..
I think you need to take into account not just Daniels’ and Burriw’s rushing stats, but the entire TEAM rushing yards… Nuss is throwing twice as much as JD or JB were, passing on nearly every down because NOBODY can run the ball.

Year two is when quarterbacks usually take a huge leap. Nuss is already halfway there.

Next week's game at SC will speak volumes. I think we'll shock the Cocks and run the ball for over 200 yards Saturday

SC brought pressure from the DEs against Kentucky and put consent pressure. I’m not saying they won’t do that against us, but our pass blocking is extremely good and should have plenty time to throw the ball. South Carolina ran 50 plays and their longest drive was 61 yards in the blowout win against Kentucky

He's actually not. It's 50% more the numbers are right there. And not having a running game makes it harder not easier. Ntm not having any elite receivers. The lengths some of y'all will go not to give him credit is insane.
