Throw the ball up, he’s gonna go get it. Love this coaching staff but he needs to be featured more.

It’s crazy that until last game they haven’t given this guy the opportunity to do so.

Saw him play much high school basketball and knew he was special athlete. His elusiveness for a big guy is uncanny as well. The world is his oyster .

On top of that, he’s pretty damn fast for being 6’4”

I don’t know about “they.” I’m sure some of those plays that BK wanted JD to air out in previous games were meant to go to Thomas

He’s great after the catch too, just can’t get him the ball in any space.

I believe Kelly said in a preseason presser that Thomas was pound for pound the strongest player on the team to include grip strength. He needs more 50/50 balls.

He’s looked good all season. Probably one of the few WR who did the most with his opportunities early on.

I’ve said it before, and I will say it again. Brian Thomas is going to have a good career in the NFL

Toss up who is best:

Thomas
Boutte
Jenkins
Nabors

BK probably gets the tingles knowing how much talent he has access to at LSU.

Would love to see him ball, did he mostly play in the post or what?

In HS I watched him more than a few times take a 10 yard pass near the sidelines and turn it into big gainers with little effort and made defenses look ineffective.

He’s done that this year, as well as going and getting jump balls. Incredible talent.

When BK took the gig I instantly thought BTJ's game would mirror something like Chase Claypool in this offense. I do think BTJ has a higher upside. Next year could be very special for him.

That’s no toss up. The best is Boutte. Sometimes it amazes me the inability of some folks on this board to spot talent. Boutte is going to be another Justin Jefferson in the NFL. He will own that league. Nabers is next, but I wouldn’t ridicule someone for saying Thomas. Jaray is fourth, but he will start in the NFL.

Boutte lost a step with the injury

You’re lying to yourself if you think he has the same gear he did 2 years ago

BK forcing 7 into the game plan so much hurt us in earlier games
