After beating bama at home, I really thought the future under Kelly was bright. Then it was just season after season of disappointment.

I’ll always wonder how much Woodward had to do with that. Rumors about him wanting to fire Brad Davis and stuff about him being “Woodwards spy”

bk is a straight narcissist. he can never be wrong. he isn't a bad coach, but things go off the rails when his initial way of doing things doesnt work. it's why he never got over the hump and it's why sec competition devoured him.

You broke it down perfectly. When his vision no longer works he doesn’t adjust or have a plan B it simply comes crashing down. It takes a season of ineptitude for Kelly to make a change.
The special teams was a seaosn long disaster in year 1, the defense was a season long disaster in year 2, the run game was a season long disaster in year 3, the offense was a season long disaster in year 4.

So many times in press conferences after things went poorly he would keep saying “they need to do this”,,,”they did that”. Never a “we played poorly”. No you’re not out there playing but a head coach gets the brunt of the heat but it’s your job to take that like a man and a leader even if it’s not truely your fault.
