So you are pretty much saying that you liked the way that Ed O was running the program and wished it was still like that. An absolute catastrophe. Got it!

The real story here is Kelley communicating with Boutte thru the media.
Kelley does not do that if a player can be approached and permits personal communication.
My guess is Kelley felt he had nothing to lose by that approach, which suggests just how bad Boutte’s attitude was.
I really hope Kayshon gets it together, but this is not an Ed o team anymore. If he doesn’t he will be left behind.

I kind of fill for Kayshon, who the frick wants to go sit and watch practice EVERYDAY when you can't participate. I have had a few private interactions with him. Dude was super positive even when he was balling out and the team wasn't. He's a great tiger and WANTS to be a tiger no matter what the internet crowd thinks.

I know the kid asked for a few bucks, who the frick wouldn't when you are potentially the best WR in the country AND it is legal for you to ask for money. LSU dropped the ball, they should have this shite lined up and not put the kids in a position to have to use leverage to get a little spending money.

Negotiating a contract with Nick Saban and threatening to quit LSU = working things out on his own?

Is there any truth to him not being able to get into bama because of grades?

I find that one hard to believe.

anyone having a problem with Boutte should go look up info on Tyrone Prothro. Prothro was on his way to winning a Heisman and having an NFL contract.

What?

It's just another case of the lack of leadership and coaching under coach O. He watched how Stingley acted all last summer and again when Stingley quit on the team last year. He just mimicked that because it was acceptable to the coaches the last two years.

Kelly just doing a coaching job on him and readjusting his attitude.

A teammate. A good teammate. One who wants to continue being a teammate.

I can tell you were in the band in HS and don't know know a thing about competition.

Boutte was going to Bama. You dumb rubes need to understand that.

Yep

The only reason Boutte is here is because we outbid Bama.

That's it. He will play minimally this next season.

Mentioning this now could produce a negative reaction from Boutte.

People babying Boutte and worrying about his feelings his whole life is exactly why he was acting the way he was in the first place. He needs someone to call him out on his BS. I get he was hurt and probably going through a lot but you should still be there for your teammates.

He hasn’t seemed engaged with the team much period. When interviewed by Jordy before the bowl game he had no clue Kirklin was practicing at QB. Maybe I’m wrong but he doesn’t strike me as a good team player.

The former coaching staff wasn’t good with team morale. They should have had him around for the same reason BK said. I’m sure it’s depressing almost to be injured as a big time player on a P5 football program. You’re so good but can’t do anything. Being around the team would have been good for him. He was also flirting with Bama at that time right?

Kelly should have let the mother fricker leave. He is EXACTLY the type of disruptive player to cause locker room shite. It would be fine w/me is he never sees the field. frick him and his Bama urge.

If Alabama lost 6 games this year and Saban retired, guarantee that roster would be an exodus. Very few players are playing for the love of their state school these days. I have no problem with him getting a good NIL deal to stay.

bullshite. Either be fully engaged or hit the road.

Boutte has had conversations with Bama twice. After he took Gordon's money he still was talking to Bama. That’s enough for me to see that Boutte is not a team player and he probably would be better off rehabbing at Bama. It just feels that this Boutte story isn’t over just yet.

Because it was reported that Boutte went back to Gordon when Bama came at him again.

Nick Dias discussed this and tampering recently. Even the 1st time Bama was talking to Boutte was tampering as Boutte was not in the transfer portal. Apparently there was a second discussion with Bama and Gordon redid the NIL with Boutte to “expand their relationship”. Do you honestly think that a Lawyer the stature of Gordon has time to sit down and redo an NIL unless there was tampering again?

So here is Boutte with an NIL deal but he is obviously still talking to Bama. Do you think this is popular with Brian Kelly? How do you think this is viewed by his teammates? Do you think this is the actions of a “team player”? You can but I don’t.
