Tidbits:
- LSU's Overall Record Against Auburn: 31-24-1...Auburn has won the last two meetings.

- Kelly appreciates how the team has embraced change and had faith in coaching staff...has led to team playing more consistency and having a modest win streak.

- Auburn will be team's first true road game...will need to avoid the distractions that come with that.

- Auburn's running backs are outstanding...complimented Tank Bigsby

- QB Robby Ashford is a great runner/dual threat...very athletic.

- On defense, Derek Hall is a game-wrecker

- LSU defense preparing for both Ashford or Finley

- Injury update: Jayden Daniels good to go...Jay Ward also able to go...Goodwin is day to day.

- Transfer safety Joe Foucha coming back this week...Foucha has been actively involved in practice...has also played on scout team and made an impact...he is ready to play right away.

- LSU monitoring the hurricane path and will game plan around a possible rainy game

- Daniels did better at being more decisive with passing the ball...and going through progressions...Kelly mentioned his pass to Jenkins in the red zone was his fourth receiver on the play.

- Kelly sees Auburn game as a true gauge on how good the team is.

- Kelly has some experience playing in stormy/rainy weather...not too concerned about it.

- Jack Bech was fearless as a punt returner...maybe needs to be less fearless in certain situations...but Kelly excited about his performance.

- Boutte will be back for Auburn

- Harold Perkins: has all the tools to be successful...very coachable...always wants to get better.

- Offensive line: not a banner day against New Mexico...New Mexico made it difficult with how they lined up.

- Charles Turner at Center: he's does great communicating, but competition about to get really hard for him...he is being helped out by having two big physical guards next to him.

- Jaray Jenkins: Kelly proud that he came back and got his degree...great accomplishment. Is a model player, veteran player doing anything he can to help the team, including playing special teams...

- Since Auburn has a mobile QB, LSU defense will practice more against Daniels this week to get used to the speed.

- Playing at SEC venues: Kelly has played at Georgia and Kentucky previously

- Regarding Damian Ramos: full confidence in him being the field goal and extra point kicker. Might be a permanent change at kickoff however.

Curious how bad the injuries are and if we get up early and big against AU if he will use caution.

It’s Aub playing LSU, so Chicken you know to expect rain, lightning, fire, or something of significance to occur during play.

Who was the guy on here saying college ST coaches don’t teach kicking technique?

HC apparently knows what’s up

I sure do like our new coach.

He's smart. Has a well-thought out plan and it looks like every asst coach, staff member and all of the players are on the same page.

To see where we are now vs where we were game 1, this coaching staff has really learned how to put our players in situations to be successful.

Our game plans look solid. So do the half time adjustments.

I'm happy and can't wait to see how much more this team improves.

I know this has been said a million times already, but it is so refreshing to have a solid coach. Walking up to every player that gets injured on the field and holding them accountable when they make a mistake. Trust in BK!

Well, Kelly obviously doesn't know what he's doing because SlowBlowPro told me that not even NFL QBs go through progressions anymore and the most is 1-2 reads!
