Yeah I wasn’t necessarily saying that in a negative for that instance.
I’m sure he knew what he had with the offense and thought “well they are going to do this to a lot of the defenses we play they can’t be THAT bad”.
Unfortunately only the first part was true

It’s fricking game week and we got posters just shitting on the coach already in every thread. Some people in our fan base are miserable and embarrassing.

Oh I think we can win, don't get me wrong. But we'll have to overcome an O-Line that I just don't think will be quite ready yet. I do think maybe Clemson has a similar issue so that may cancel each other out.
But he does know he has the best defensive talent he's had since he's been here and it's not even debatable. So that would help my confidence to.

Yea, last year when he wet himself during the pre-USC game press conf. didn't give me a sense of confidence.
