lack of preparation.

At some point- we have to take him at his word. He’s right.
This is EXACTLY why I think Whit Weeks needs to sit. I mean the Aggie QB ran right past him as he waved at his legs for a TD twice and Milroe did the same 2-3 times last night. He over runs plays and doesn’t have sound gap assignment.
He needs to sit Nuss as had single handedly killed 3 drives with none head throws. He doesn’t run like Jayden Daniels wouldn’t throw into coverage in his first season and up until the MSU game. Sit him.
Will Campbell has killed drives with penalties multiple times this season.
That is on Sloan, Baker and ultimately Kelly.
How does that sound to you, coach?
How about they don’t have the talent.

Is he giving any money back? Then STFU

BK is doing the best he can. Problem is, he is a middle of the pack SEC coach. Does just enough to keep his job, but never take the team to the next level. His entire career at Notre Dame was like this, so why should LSU fans expect more? We knew what we were buying.

He’s 63, 192-72 in D-1 one national championship appearance. Brother it’s not happening.
I would say he’s in over his head. His ceiling is what he has accomplished, a national championship appearance and playoff appearances. He came down here on the assumption that ND was the reason he couldn’t make the next step when in all actuality it was him.
It was respectable for him to take on the project that was LSU. But he’s shown that this is way too much for him.

The entire staff dos NOT develop and improve players.

He won’t recover from this.

He has hired too many recycled assisstant coaches who may be able to recruit, but fail to coach players up.

He’s a bad coach.
Maybe he was good at some point in his career but for this job, he thought he could sit back and be a CEO type and it’s an abject failure.
I don’t think he can recover.

He said I own it, and we need to do better....he has lost the team and coaching staff! We may not win another game.

Then he doesn't get his buyout. No, he's there until he's walked out

Agreed. Like Les kept saying he was going to change the offense. He never intended on changing shite and just like BK laughing all the way to the bank!

Words are just words. This team consistently comes out unprepared for season openers and big games, and that’s a Kelly trademark. I don’t care what he says after the game. Done with him!
I can only upvote this once!

Coaches blaming themselves at post game pressers are ridiculous. They are gaslighting their administrations. No $chite it's his fault. But when you stand there having gotten pummeled by a team that lost to Vandy clearly it's your fault. Kelly is waking to the realization that yes, he isn't a very good college football coach

Im sure he thinks the world of himself and that there is no one more capable of coaching, recruiting and relating to the players better. We are stuck with him until LSU runs out of money.

So when does he start doing better?

Nope - He came down here under the pretext he would get all the talent and then have the athletes to bump him over his head. Then NIL happened. You’re seeing a leveling of the playing fields.
UGA, Bama (Saban QUIT because of it), LSU, UF are all finding out that you can’t stockpile talent unless you stockpile money.

At what point do his loyalists blame him as well. What year? It was year 3, where are the goalposts being moved now? Honest question, not trying to stir anyone up.

The lights are too bright for BK. Why do so many of these coaches think they can come into the SEC and be successful just because they had winning records at other universities? The expectations are high in the SEC and it takes a lot of moxie to be a “true” winner. I just don’t think BK is the right guy for LSU. It’s year 3 for him. Why are we still struggling? There has to be balance on both sides of the ball in order to rise to the top. Our defense really sucks under BK’s leadership & the struggles we are now seeing on the offensive side is not good either. Yes, winning 9-10 games a season is “good” but that is not good enough when you are pursuing National Championships! Sorry, but I’ve given up on BK.
