Not to take anything away for Max, I was impressed with Brennan. He seemed more animated, like fire in his belly.

Gonna be hard to decide the starting QB. But my money is on Myles Brennan.

Another idiot among us. Peetz stated he would be running Brady's offense again from 2019. What current Qb was here that 2019 season and is most familiar with the 2019 offensive playbook. Ding Ding Ding It's Brennan!!!!. Max and TJ weren't on the 2019 team.

The best way to think about it is that Brennan probably starts and stays, so long as we can protect the pocket. If we cannot, Max looks like a better option.
But let’s not pretend Max is exactly nimble afoot.
He’s just better than Brennan, which doesn’t say much.

And I think Myles is the best guy, so win win.

And even if you don’t think Myles is the best guy, there’s no way you can say Max is head and shoulders better.

I have a hard time figuring out how people think Max is the better QB anyway, to be honest. A lot of people don’t seem to remember what was being said about Max even during those wins.

Max gives you the best chance to win because of his feet. If Brennan was so much better and could separate himself then Johnson’s mobility wouldn’t matter.

Brennan went 0-10 on 3rd down because he isn’t mobile.

This is dumb. Being mobile has never been and never will be a requisite to being a good QB. If you think having good feet gives you the best chance to win just put Emery back there.

LSU was also 13-37 on third down when Max started last season. So let’s not act like he was some magical fix. 35.1% converted.

LSU was 102nd on the season, they would have been 101st on the season with that 35.1%

Doesn't matter who starts the 1st game. I hope whoever gets the nod continues to improve and lead us to TD's like 2019.
3rd down efficiency and ability to scramble will be key no matter how skilled a passer. Greatness was seen by all in 2019. Let's see it again! NO PRESSURE.....

Why would Max Transfer if he loses the job? He’s a Sophmore/freshmen. Brennan is a 5th year senior.

Jake won’t be here till 2022 anyway.

It’s simple: he’s more athletic.

Poised, in “complete control” as Todd McShay put it, shows no fear were a few things. What are you referring to?

Doesn't mean shite as to who is more comfortable with the offense.

How many games has Brennan started under the Brady offense? Now how many has Max??? Both 0.

There is nothing to show who understands its better at this point other than your assumptions and the spring game. Neither of which mean much.

I got Brennan as the #1 guy. What I saw from him in that first half showed me THE LSU starting QB. Johnson improved in the second half, but I did not think he looked better than Brennan despite what probably 90% of everybody else is saying.

Brennan will light up every level of the field this year barring injury.
