No one knows right now including the players and coaches. This is why sports is so fun. Young men in their prime battling for the starting job. It is going to be very interesting. I think all those great athletes fighting it out will get LSU a great QB and successful year. We need one more TE or OL. That will be key.

Put me down in the Nuss camp. He looked like a totally different QB in the spring game. Took some of the raw potential we saw last year and taught him some footwork.

I think that's a possibility too but it depends on Nuss and Howard's development.

I actually do not believe Brennan to be healthy the entire season and is just a gut feeling.

Brennan played great when he was in there. Last 3 games. I don’t care for his jittery feet in the pocket or holding
Onto the ball too long. His passes are crisp and tight he may even throw too hard at times. If Danials wins out I’ll at least know competition makes better players.

Not saying Kelly “promised” him a starting spot but I’m pretty certain that a conversation in regards to the job being WIDE OPEN and the style of offense/experience that Daniels has.
6K yards in the P5 is no slouch. Daniels has more experience than majority of the SEC QBs coming back. All that being said, Nuss is still a good choice. He might not be the best right now but he needs to go through the ringer in the west. Take his lumps and bruises. By the time he’s a junior he will be exactly what we need.

If you don't think we are going undefeated, which most rational people don't, what game do you think we lose? FSU, @ AUB, TEN, @ FLA? That is probably when a switch will happen.
Again, Nuss performed best in Spring game, Daniels had issues throwing.
But if fully healthy, I think Kelly gives Brennan first crack to get the job done against FSU.
This isn't us saying what we'd do, it's what we think will happen.

Had nuss played, win or lose, the bowl game last season... then one of the two or both, Brennan or Daniels, would not be at LSU right now.
