The dude balled out in 2019, he is not a perfect QB but no one is, he isn’t just mobile, he has real running ability (think Hurts), it’s not the end all be all, but it helps a lot.

When you are playing the safest bet you are just dragging down your team. You have to score in today's game to remain competitive. Defenses can't hold a game any longer. Brennan has not shown he is the QB to take a team far and he has been here for a while.

In a perfect pocket with plenty of time Brennan is probably ok----against SEC teams you are only going to see that 33% of the time with a good O-line.

Realize, Joe Burrow had been on the LSU campus for just over a week at this point in 2018. Neither one of these guys is Burrow, but fall camp is everything.

I love it when someone posts "1 particular years" status

Almost like those viral videos of cops beating people up, but they never show the resisting arrest part....

Ok Cupcake
2019 stats 17TD's 2 Int's 149.2 QB rating.....

2020 Covid yr
2021 Shitshow ASU team with a lot of crap going on w the team....

JAYDEN WILL BE THE STARTER, and he WILL CRUSH IT FOR ONE YEAR, and Leave to GOTO THE NFL

I would be surprised if both brennan and Daniels do not play

Each brings a different skill set and one might match up better against an opponent so why not be open to the idea that we can use both?

I mean brennan might be able to take advantage of a team with weakness at db while Daniels could destroy teams with poor tackling or trouble handling mobile qb’s.

I’d love to see some variation

Brennan for sure. Brennan has been loyal to LSU and has not had a full season in his pocket. Injury prone, maybe. He has a rocket arm and can make the deep throws. The players respect his loyalty to the team and LSU. He gets the start and Daniels will get playing time along with Nuss.. But Brennan starts against FSWHO. GEAUX TIGERS !

Why hasn’t he had a full season in his pocket after 5 years? Also the loyal to LSU thing sounds great, me and you are loyal to LSU but that has zero bearing on whether we are the best option at starting QB. Ask yourself this, we’re playing Florida State, would you rather they start their best players or their most loyal players?

Daniel’s. He’s not an accurate passer.

You do know he was 30th in completion percentage in the nation last year

You have been shilling for Brennan here for years. I will give you credit if he succeeds. Last year he stepped on pop top, blew out his flip flop. Daniels is a proven quality player.

I don’t shill for anyone, I just post the numbers which you guys always want to dismiss or ignore. Daniels was an average QB at ASU vs PAC-12 competition who regressed as a passer the more DCs saw him. Nuss and Brennan are more talented, Brennan’s produced better numbers and both looked better than him in spring. There’s just no objective argument for Daniels, the only argument is hoping he improves enough to blow past the other 2 guys because you have some personal preference for him for whatever reason.

You post the numbers that suit your argument, when is the last time you posted Daniels’ rushing numbers? Or his numbers against Oregon on the road?

I think Daniels is a dynamic and even underrated runner from the QB position. The problem is you don’t judge QBs in reverse like that. First they need to be able to beat the defense by throwing the ball, running ability is an extra after they can do that. What you’re doing is putting the least important ability first.
