Well he stuck it out for 5 years as a backup plagued with injuries. I dont lump Myles in with the other transfers because myles isn't like the other transfers and we'd do well to recognize that.

He'll be out of eligibility in 2022.

He knows he's not good enough, hence the move to USM.

The kid was averaging over 300 yards a game and had like 11 TDs before he got hurt in 2020. Not good enough--you're an idiot.

Simple— Max is now gone. Howard probably redshirts. Nuss backs up Brennan.

He made his decision. Any coach worth his salt would not welcome him back. These players gave up on their team. The team did not give up on them. Coaches allowing players who gave up on their team open themselves to numerous discipline and player control problems.

Brennan would be crazy to pass this opportunity. He will be the starter 100%.
This is his shot.

I like Brennan, but coming back next year is wrong time, wrong place.
The OL next year is NOT going to be a good match up for a QB with such obvious mobility problems as Brennan possesses.
He can be effective in the right offense with the right supporting staff. That will not be LSU next year, IMO.

Lol this is extremely short sighted. It’s December 9th. The transfer portal is wide open. We could snag a few damn good OL. Brad Davis has a chance to coach our OL up and light a frickin fire under their arse all offseason.
I’d welcome Brennan back with open arms. Proper play calling would improve his third down efficiency, along with working on his touch on short passes. He’s a damn good QB.

Dude has put in his entire career here and been a true tiger. He’s had a difficult journey. This is not a Ricks situation.

I'd love it if he stayed because he would probably have a great opportunity. I have no idea what he's thinking but I hope hiring BK makes him think twice. If he does end up going through with a transfer I hope he doesn't end up at Nebraska. That program is in disarray. They are sunk.

Most of the QBs in the portal are below Brennan and Johnson.

You don’t even know who the OC is and you already know the offense. Amazing

Haven't seen that name in a while.

Undrafted btw.

He made a rash decision, but I wish him luck as long as he doesn’t transfer to another SEC school.

can you blame him? he was the most patient CFB player i have literally ever seen. How many OCs? How many years being the backup? The last two seasons were supposed to be his, only to see injuries end his career here. He had to figure Max wasnt losing the job when he decided to hit the portal. It was a good decision and says nothing about his loyalty to the program. He's good enough to get a look in the league and he sure AF wasnt getting that look here. Same with Burrow leaving OSU.
