Brennan would be crazy to pass this opportunity. He will be the starter 100%.
This is his shot.

I’d feel more comfortable with Brennan!
His time is now— he only looses if he quits.

Kelly will get someone from the portal, time for Brennan to move on.

What do you call what he just did?

ETA: also, “loses.”

I like Brennan, but coming back next year is wrong time, wrong place.
The OL next year is NOT going to be a good match up for a QB with such obvious mobility problems as Brennan possesses.
He can be effective in the right offense with the right supporting staff. That will not be LSU next year, IMO.

Simple— Max is now gone. Howard probably redshirts. Nuss backs up Brennan.
If Brennan hasn’t signed yet — he should come back— 2022 could be a great year if he does.

The problem is that Myles Brennan isn't mobile. The offense Kelly is going to run will demand a mobile quarterback who can factor into the running game.

But if you don't get Dillon Gabriel, I'll agree that Brennan is as good as anybody else in the portal that we might have a shot at.

Brennen has already quit the team. Why would we want a quitter back? Good riddance and good luck to him wherever he ends up.

1. It's always in the program's interest to purge chest-lacking Gunner Kiels

2. We're not competing for a title next year - the reps belong developing Nuss or Howard, not a 5th year senior

Why so he can be on our arse team next year? It would be smart for him to go to a school with a chance at something next year.

Opportunity has passed Brennan.

With him taking Nebraska visit, it’s clear he wants ready-made situation and we can’t guarantee that here.

He might win job here and be starter but it’s not guaranteed and he could lose job as year went on or just be 1 year starter imo.

Ultimately, he would have to compete and nothing would be guaranteed and me think he wants guarantees bc all he has is 1, maybe 2 yrs to play.
