He hit it on a high school teammate of mine, Kendall Graveman from Alexander City, AL (Benjamin Russell HS). He was a few years older than me but his dad was our infield coach. He’s a great guy so I hope he bounces back. Congrats to Bregman though!!!

His best year as a pro was in 2019 when the Astros were not using cameras in the outfield to steal signals. He still needs to continue to improve post scandal to erase all doubts I do agree with that.

Unfortunately he has been branded a cheater, as has the entire team. They will have that stigma forever.

His legacy will be fine. The Astros were far from the only ones cheating. It hasn’t even been a huge topic of discussion around the league as the season has begun. The fake anger from casual fans will continue to die off. No one is keeping Altuve out of the HOF. Reaching 100 home runs this soon for Bregman is a huge accomplishment. He will win an MVP at some point.

So you are telling me if he continues playing at his 2019 level .296/.423/.592 with 40+ home runs and 100+ rbi he won’t outlive that stigma?
Please remember that Before the 2019 season the MLB changed the rules stopping teams from being able to use cameras in the outfield to get signals from the catcher. Because the MLB knew teams were doing this a year before the reports about the Astros and Red Sox became public.

Bregman will be the best MLB player from LSU when it’s all said and done. That 2017 season will soon be forgotten. He is one of the best hitters in baseball and he’s one of the best infielders in baseball
