Breakdown of LSU pitching numbers, days rest, last outing, and starting predictions

I have highlighted in yellow who I think will start the next 3 games. All 3 would be on 4 days rest at their next start. Looking at the numbers, we need Floyd, Cooper (only threw 20 pitches his last outing) and Guidry (only threw 20 pitches his last outing) to get us through Saturday. By Sunday I think Herring and Hurd become available out of the pen. If we have to play Monday, you're going to see Money, if he isn't needed before then.

If we go Monday..it will be Skenes again! That is only if he doesnt pull spot duty on Sunday after win on Saturday

Floyd went 5. He ran in to trouble and didn't record an out in the 6th.
I think LSU tries to ride Floyd, Cooper, and Guidry on Saturday. LSU need Floyd to go at least 5.

Yes. They are all on the CWS roster. Bucknam may be as well, I don't remember.

If we can get away with only using Floyd and Cooper, or Floyd and Guidry, that would be awesome. Would need 6 or 7 out of Floyd for that to happen.

This would only happen for a 1-2 inning "get out of a jam or close it out" situation. He is not starting Monday. The only chance for a legit starting situation for him would be if the Sat game gets rained out and we go to Tuesday for the if game.

I just went look for the posted picture of the roster again and checked. Collins was listed. I would hope he'd be dressed out if listed there, because if not you wasted a roster spot. But who knows.

I’ll get down voted like crazy but my 2 cents. I feel like we need to save Floyd for Sunday giving him another days rest with hopefully Ack to start a possible rubber match Mon. Or in relief Sun depending on situation. This means cannon fodder for Sat. From Money, Little, Dutton & (eta: Collins not Cooper) hoping our bats can carry the day.
