LSU violations, if any, are far beyond statute of limitations. Someone at Bama will cash a big check to tell their story before this is over. Saban is a fool trying to paint himself as a “virgin” in the filth of college football recruiting.

Somewhere in here you have the answer to "Why didn't they fire Coach O? Why did they let him have a 17 million dollar buyout?"
Because they did fire Orgeron during the season. They didn’t wait until the season was over. Orgeron was not fired for cause. He was fired for losing too many games. They paid off his contract.

Yep agreed Braylon is a bitch
Wow, He's seen "what could be a money hand shake" at Michigan, then says Michigan did everything right.
"swear to god"
Every time I've hard heard this in my life it was before someone was about lie or a contractor attempt a shady deal with me.
So, No I do not believe him.

Says Hill was committed to Michigan but went to LSU at the last minute because a new SUV and money.
Hill wasn’t at the last minute. Memory serves me right, he was the 1st domino to drop in the super class that had Whitworth, Spears, and Clayton among others.

Per Marquise via Tom Lemming in the link below, Michigan was leading to sign him as late as late October in 2000.

Here is another quote from the Orlando Sentinel in 2001.

Here is another quote from the Orlando Sentinel in 2001.
quote:
Rabid fans have been accused of planting false information on message boards in an attempt to influence recruits' choices. Players know that trick, too. New Orleans De La Salle defensive tackle Marquise Hill committed to LSU after telling analysts all fall he was leaning to Michigan.
"I had to keep the suspense up," Hill said when he announced his commitment to the Tigers. "It was really always LSU."

Can’t build a wall without building materials.

What's frustrating to me about this flap is that every coach who's worked in Division I football or basketball has directly or indirectly been guilty of NCAA violations. I'm astounded that this is even a question.

All this time, I thought only Will Wade had paid players at LSU!

A lie. Hill never committed to Michigan. They were the leader according to everyone… except Marquise.

Was that the guy that died drowned at a beach like his rookie year in nfl or maybe second year with pats ??

How much was Michigan offering? Lost in all these accusations is that these are bidding wars-lsu was the only school with financial enticements on the table and Edwards fricking knows it
Posted on 5/21/22 at 6:32 pm to Silvermoon_WhereRU
People acting ike they wasn't under the table deals before nil its stupid. Of course there were. That's not the issue it's that nil is not being regulated. He'll even the NFL has trade deadlines free agent rules and regulations

quote:Dinardo got some good talent to come to LSU, I wouldn't say he had good classes, they were alright. But Saban changed the course of LSU football by starting to lockdown homegrown talent in the state. That's why he was able to turn the ship so fast, LA is a state loaded with football talent. Of course he had to bribe these guys to stay home because they had made it a normal thing to leave the state to play away with other bigtime programs, making the other school's powerhouse contenders all of the time. The Nebraska's, Texas', Oklahoma's, USC's, Miami's, Fla St, and so on all benefitted from top LA football talent.
1. everyone pays players, always have
2. we were signing good classes under Dinardo too. Saban walked into a wealth of talent that just needed proper coaching.
but Saban is an arse for doing this, he's scared now that his dominance is coming to an end. First, Georgia has caught up to him and now AtM is coming, and LSU with Kelly now will be there too soon. So, he decides to blow up the ship. LoL
