Not saying he thinks he gives him a good shot to win, just better
And I think BH leaving would be a terrible decision based on how loaded out offense is and the very real probability of him being our starter next year

No, we don't desrve Brandon Harris.
The coaching staff definitely does not deserve Harris.

Miles is a liar. Harris can run this offense. Instead we won't know who our QB is at the end of the season and that's unacceptable. Harris needs to leave this dog and pony show.
In all honesty, it is probably in Harris's best interest to transfer.
Thank you Scruffy
At least someone agrees that this situation is becoming toxic because of the staff.
To Brandon:
Runnnnnnnnnnnnn

I don't want to believe that either. But the alternative is Miles actually believes Jennings gives a good shot to win, which simply isn't the case. And if it is the case then he is so incompetent that he is incapable of either recruiting/developing a QB that does give us a good chance to win. I'm sorry, but none of the realistic scenarios as to why Harris isn't playing look good on Miles.
The question is, which shitty explanation do you want?

Nothing wrong in there. I see the frustration of a young, hungry guy who knows he can lead this team. Nothing at all wrong with his attitude imo. I wish more guys on the team displayed the intangible leadership qualities he has and I have to believe that and his talent will shine through eventually.

I don't think a HC in the most competitive division in football would sabotage his team over a petty grudge or not play who he thinks gives him the best chance to win

And honestly I'm not sure which is dumber, neither answer is good. He's either incredibly petty and bullheaded or a total fricking idiot

I don't really care. The ultimate conclusion is that Miles is not setting this program up for success in the near or long term.

Pretty sad it's come down to this, isnt it?

The melt is real. Nobody is on Miles side on the Harris situation.
Miles has a terrible track record of managing QBs off the field. Think about the history.

I'm with you. I don't see anything wrong with his interview either.

Cam is the only reason Harris is here. If Cam leaves, so will Harris.

Meh, he is the head coach. Accountability comes with the contract and the money. He has a horrible track record with developing quarterbacks. The criticism is warranted.

but this could be a reason Les is not playing him
If this were true and Les was deliberately not playing a kid that may give LSU a better chance to win out of spite, he should be fired yesterday

If BH was my kid I would tell him give it one more year if you don't see the field transfer!

it is always better to say "where I could have helped US with the game" etc not that big a deal, but he doesn't win games, the team wins games
So we disregard where he says that he understands his job is to help the team win and work with the receivers so that they are prepared to help Jennings in the game?
I feel like some of y'all are reaching for what ever reason to try and throw blame on Harris for why he isn't playing. I believe it has more to do with Jennings being slightly more comfortable playing under center than Harris at this point and Miles is most comfortable running that offense with our personnel.

Not only is he spot on, but he is extremely mature in how he says everything. I hope to god he can stay patient a little longer. He's going to be a great leader when he really gets a chance.

This wouldn't be the first time les lied to cover his own arse.
Remember the JJ-Ole Miss spike debacle with video proof of him telling JJ to spike it?

Coaches have a shite-ton of power in this arena (transfers). Can't Miles force him to sit a year, stipulate that he not play in the SEC, or refuse to release him altogether?
And if it comes down to a showdown, do you really want to see Harris create such a stink within the organization that Miles is simply happy to be rid of him? That'll be a pretty sorry situation.

Not sure how any father in the state could encourage their QB/TE son to play for Miles. Unless they really don't like their kid. Absolutely nothing wrong with what he said in that interview. I would be disgusted too knowing that the team I love and fight with everyday is losing while the guy in front of me is absolutely terrible. I can tell he is frustrated, but nothing he said is grounds for taking snaps away from him. This is Miles clear as day. We've seen it before and we are seeing it again. He will never learn.

Only problem is nobody will ever know. If by some chance Harris is allowed to play next year and comes in and lights things up this season will be long forgotten and everybody will be looking ahead. If he plays and by some chance isn't much better than Jennings Miles will say see I was right all along. Win win for les.

so Miles was ok with the fanbase winning earlier in the season, but not now?
If miles made decisions based off the opinions of the largest collection of football retarded imbeciles in the LSU fan base, I would want him gone immediately.
