Yep, we're probably going to be one of the first 4 teams in the College Playoffs.

Nah I don't think you want to be wrong.

But either way, you're not even remotely close to being right

This I agree with. We haven't beaten them since November of 2011. Ugh.

Well, you've got that going for you.
I think we win 2 of those 3.

Here's what I don't understand is how LSU is picked 3rd or 4th in the west bc of inexperience blah blah, but bama will some how win the SEC with more inexperience at more vital positions including QB and OL? Those 2 mixed together are disaster in waiting but they some how pull through but LSU will not? Guess we will find out, oh and they have a brand new OC that hasn't proven a thing, OL coach that struggled with one of the best OL in America LY but they will some how be better this year

Oh, preseason myopia, how I've missed you.

For the record, LSU beat Auburn last year as well as Florida. Florida went 4-8 last season. and Alabama loses more starters than LSU, including their starting QB.

I'm not saying LSU wins all three games, but the idea LSU has no chance to win those three is just stupid. Flat out stupid.

We have young talent play every year. Don't really see the difference. Defense will be fast like always. We're still going to pound the rock > sets up play action. On the plus side we have MOBILE QBs now. So they won't sit around like a duck and take a sack.

Meh, this team will show what it's got right out the gate. If they beat a very tough Wisky team then look out they will compete for the West.

You will be bud.... What about FL is intimidating? Besides us playing in FL, I truly believe we could strictly run the football rotate OL and RBs, TEs, all game with a few screens and flat passes to TEs ect. and be with in a TD of every opponent or beating the crap out of them by the end of the game honestly. Our D last year didn't turn the ball over much and if that increased we win lots of games. With some smart play calling we can beat every team on the schedule, will it happen prob not but 4 to 5 loses please. I would bet on that.

What does he say about Alabama replacing most of their offensive line and starting a QB who has little to no playing time? 2 or 3 losses? Doubt it. I will watch the games on SEC Network but not their Bama loaded analysis with Finebaum etc.

I see us going 7-5, 3-5 in the SEC. I'll be quite happy if we do better than this--very, very pleasantly surprised in fact.

It happens every year. Alabama is picked first, some other team is picked 2nd, LSU is picked 3rd.

Then LSU always exceeds expectations and does better than the teams picked in front of them.

Repeat.

A few weeks ago I pulled the preseason SEC West Predicted Order of Finish from Media Days for the last 5 years (2009-2013) and this is what I found:

Number of times LSU has finished worse in the SEC West standings than projected: ZERO.
Number of times LSU has finished higher than projected: 3 out of 5 years; 2010, 2011, 2012
Number of times LSU has finished behind a team that it was projected to finish in front of: 1, Auburn 2013
Number of times LSU finished ahead of a team it was projected to finish behind: 4 out of 5 years.
2013 Texas A&M, 2012 Auburn, 2011 Alabama, 2010 Alabama
