I would love to be 8/9 in Duke's bracket, I think LSU would a bad matchup for them that early

Lsu could potentially be a bad matchup for lots of ppl, but don't kid yourself. Duke, specifically Okafor, would be a nightmare matchup for lsu. Who would guard him? Darcy? Mickey who's maybe 6'8?

Duke is not an elite team, they have barely escaped several games against teams inferior to LSU....Mickey could hang in there with Okafor. Who would guard Martin? See, anyone can say that.
LSU could defend the 3 with their long athletic guards. Now obviously LSU would have to play REALLY well to win, most importantly hitting some big 3s. But my point is Duke is not the juggernaut the media makes them out to be. Need I remind you they have lost to Lehigh and Mercer in the last few yrs....there will be about 15 teams in that tourmey that can knock them off.

As many others have said, a 7 or 10 seed is probably LSU's best shot at a Sweet 16 Run. Who knows what could happen the.

I really think anyone can beat anyone but Duke would be the toughest game for us. They have good players and Coach K. I like our chances against a team like Virginia where we can get out and run. Wisconsin would be tough as well. Kaminsky would have a field day.

It would just be our luck to keep winning, draw an 8 seed in Virginia's regional, and they kick our asses. Similar to 09' vs UNC where we hang around for awhile but they eventually overpower us

You've obviously never seen Virginia play. They want to keep the game in the 50s/low 60s.

That would be a HORRIBLE matchup for us.

Cant wait for a new 30 second shot clock, these types of "offenses" have got to go.

I'm having flashbacks to 2000 against Wisconsin thinking about playing Virginia.

Just had a bad flashback to our halftime score against Wisconsin in 2000(?).

I want no part of UVA, they play defense as good as I've seen in college in years. Would be a bad matchup for LSU. You have to shoot the ball REALLY well to beat them.

Just get in the damn thing and I'll be happy with the season. I think that was the realistic goal this year. Three more wins LSU is definitely in and probably with two more I would be upset if not. One more win and I don't think LSU has a good argument. LSU seems to be the 6th SEC team in at the moment and that is scary. Fair or not it is what it is and those three losses in conference might still bite.

I agree. Just get in tournament. 8/9 might be a more brutal path, but could you imagine getting another shot at UK? Might be a good thing.

I could care less about the seed. Just want an invite. VIP seating not required.

If we beat Tenn and Arky and have a decent showing in the sec tourney were in no doubt.

Beating Tenn is more important than beating Arky. Can't lose to anymore inferior teams. Still can't believe we lost to Mizzou and Auby.

Teams that would give us troubles in the tourney aren't necessarily better than us, but more disciplined and mistake free teams.... Like Virginia, Wisky, Duke, Gonzaga, etc.

Athletically and on a talent level, we matchup pretty good against everyone. But it's teams that are well coached, disciplined, good on D, and mistake free that I would be worried about. If you wanna run and gun against us, go ahead because we can do that too. It's the teams that slow it down that give us issues. Plus our lack of a bench will come back to hurt us at some point.

But we are a team that nobody really wants to see in their bracket. We're big, athletic, and talented. We're also inconsistent, make mistakes, and turnover prone. But if we are playing well, we can compete with anyone.

Can't wait for the tourney
