Protecting the dirt in case it rains, but allowing the infield grass to get sunlight would be my guess. That infield started looking a little rough by Tuesday last week. Needed some sun.

I would imagine if Arizona and Mississippi State runs long (which never ever ever happens), this game could start on either ESPNEWS or SEC Network.

I would imagine ESPNEWS. Yesterday, the TCU-A&M game started on SEC Network when the Arizona-MS State game ran long but I think that was because Boston College-Miami was already being shown on ESPNEWS.
