Not enough true leadership outside Anthony and maybe Deculus

Leaders don’t always need to be your best players, but it certainly helps when they at least know what to do. #18 Damone Clark is LOST almost every play and fills gaps wrong. How is he supposed to hold Bug Strong accountable when he doesn’t even know what he’s doing?

I didn't think I needed to explain what happens sometimes when teams get a big lead at half time...they let off the pedal. But yeh Tulane's prep for the game was to get blown out at half...make OU overconfident and comeback and make it close...sound competent gameplan

Luckily they won't be in the SECCG this season, that could pose a problem.

. Yea Tulane never adjusted and started attacking Oklahoma’s defensive weaknesses to make it a damn close game. The fact an undermanned Tulane team being displaced almost pulled one of the biggest upsets ever shows just how incompetent LSU’s coaches were in getting their team ready to play. It was disgusting to see. The fact you will post the most idiotic things to defend O is really weird

You are the one that thinks Tulane had a great gameplan….maybe OU coaches didn't respect Tulane at half and the team let up. That comeback was all due to the OU coaches sucking at half right?

I am not defending O I am telling you about human nature. People get overconfident and don't play as hard. Ever see Saban going nuts up 40 in the 4th quarter? That is why. And some people hate him for it. I love him for being that way. So if you say the LSU staff did a horrible job and the UCLA staff did a great job shouldn't you use the same logic for OU & Tulane?

Players can read and everyone on TD were already giving us a 17+ point win vs an overmatched opponent.

People on TD say this every year. We said this about Washington 2009, Oregon in 2011, TCU in 2013, BYU in 2017, Miami in 2018, etc etc.

But yeah it's TDs fault we lost this one. Sure.

Speaking of Boutte, check out Olivia Dunn, the LSU gymnast, just signed a clothing deal, worth mid 6 figures

Yes Oklahoma’s staff didn’t do a good job at all vs Tulane. But Lincoln Riley also didn’t threaten a fan in a sissy blue shirt on top of it. It was just a real disappointment all the way around. Then follow that up with a really bad showing offensively vs mcneese. A team west florida hung 40 on. Things are really bad and I hope doesn’t get worse when sec play starts.

Here with that logic! How can you blame this on the head coach? He didn't have electricity at his house, give him a break!

At this point, anyone who still making excuses for O is either obtuse or straight-up lying

Somehow the fans, press/media didn’t underestimate UCLA yet the staff and players did. I don’t know how to respond to that
