Has any other SEC team in recent memory suffered the ridiculous amount of injuries that we have? This shite seems to happen on a yearly basis for us. I know there's nothing we can do to prevent most of them, but damn, are we cursed?

That's why O isn't going anywhere. No team could lose half of that and be OK

At least they came out and said it instead of weeks of “well he might be back in a couple week”,”we hope to have him back soon” etc etc. The secrecy over player injuries needs to die. Just tell it like it is.

Seeing Kayshon go down Saturday night

It was sickening, and it was a sensational catch.

I hadn't felt this bad about a play since Harvey Williams blew out his knee at Tulane in 1987.

LSU’s stellar roster is down to three 5-star players: Maason Smith, Eli Ricks and Sage Ryan and we have yet to see Sage.

Gone: Emery, Boutte, Stingley, Brooks.

How common is this injury? I've never heard of it until this year...or is it called something else too?

It usually just gets called torn ligaments or a broken foot. It's not uncommon in football or soccer. It usually happens when a player steps on another player's foot (I saw it once in a QB whose foot got stepped on by their OL) or when they have their foot firmly planted and twist.

Artificial turf to blame?

Nah. It can sometimes happen when the cleat doesn't release all the way from the field too (which happens more often in natural grass).

This study from not too long ago suggests there isn't a correlation between higher incidences of Lisfranc and turf.

Terrible, I hate seeing players hurt themselves, I just pray what he has can be rehabbed easily.

Prayers Boutte

From the replay it looked like his foot rolled over from the toe end rather than the heel end when he came down and landed

You could not make this stuff up if you tried. 2019 was a deal with the devil and now years of payback are in progress.

So

When does Bama's payback start?

People keep saying CEO made a deal with the devil or sold his soul. Sooo, what was the deal? Win a Chip then lose it all? What did he give up? His wife? Its just strings of unfortunate events. Only thing O is guilty of is not being able to handle success. He's like those PowerBall winners who go broke after a year. Or high paid athletes who don't know how to invest, and are now scraping for money.

I feel terrible for Boutte. He was outstanding and wish we had a better team for him to be on. He was so fun to watch and with a French Louisiana name, it just sounds right at LSU.

Get well Kayshon, and can't wait to see you at the next level.

Hopefully the kid recovers fully and takes all of next year to get ready for the NFL. He laid it on the line for LSU and now he should take care of himself. The program is a shite show anyway.
