He's not wrong. Did you see the full whiff on the sack allowed by Dillon Gordon? The linebacker just made a little twitch and ran right by him! The offensive line is a false starting machine and has been for a while. That may change under Grimes, but time will tell. Booger sees this team from an outside perspective, unlike an LSU fan, and calls it accurately in my view. Very smart guy for a defensive lineman. The reliance on sheer talent to win ballgames and the nonchalance, or lack of game planning for opponents is really wearing a lot of people thin of patience. You watch, there will be no real game planning for these next cupcake opponents and the team will struggle. This affects a young player's confidence. The Wisconsin game felt eerily similar to Troy of '08, and many of us don't like to be in any way reminded of '08.

Truth hurts. Wisconsin d line put a whipping on them for 2.5 quarters. Screen pass blocking was abysmal. Luckily the main dt got injured but that's football. We had several injured contributors

I dont know what is so inaccurate about what he said. It sounded like he watched the same game I did

And he does work for the SEC Network so he has to be a little neutral. I wouldnt expect him to be falling over backwards praising LSU

Not really. They didnt play well sure but to say that definitively at this point is silly. They also asked him who is the best in the sec and who is the heisman front runner. His answer...it's only week 1. No one is the sec front runner and no one is the heisman front runner. You cant base a season off of week 1.

So he takes the stance of you cant make season long judgement after one week, then turned around and did it with the LSU OL.

Booger McFarland and his issues with us?

Never had a problem with people telling the truth.

Happy to get this one behind us (with a win) - looking forward to the future - improvement is forthcoming.

although it was true for wisconsin, is it a fair statement going forward?

LSU played without it's starting veteran center.
he'll be back saturday IMO and the line will look much different.

i pretty much agree with him. I respect him for not being a homer and giving an unbiased analysis of LSU...besides a few players, Wisconsin's talent is not SEC level. I could see them finishing 9th with that QB.

He wasn't talking about "going forward."

He was referring to Saturday night. And he was right.

So here is what he actually said.

"The offensive line is not as good as advertised...or at least not on Saturday."

So if you play the whole quote he said exactly what you thought he should basically.
