Possibly, but I wonder if you would say the same thing if they beat Boise and lost to South Carolina.

Bottom line is Boise won't get any respect from any LSU fans until they play and beat LSU in Tiger Stadium at night.

we'll see how they finish up. i just dont think we should crown them b/c they had a 23 beside their name when they played. just b/c the media bought into UGA before the season doesnt mean that boise gets a marquee win. like i said, we'll see how this thing plays out. im just not sure a 7-5 SEC team counts as a big win

This is not a given IMO.

I'm a pessimistic fan. I'm just expecting us to 5-7 again this year. A bowl game will seem like a championship.

What part of the LSU/Oregon game's "STFU" message does Boise State not understand?

Agree completely.

I don't think that either. But I'm not sure what Boise is supposed to do about it. They play the teams they can schedule. A playoff would be awesome. Then if they somehow ended up playing OU and LSU back to back and won both, no one could question their ability. But alas, that will never happen.

I know you are sandbagging and I understand why, but UT would give Boise a hell of a game. I watched the game tonight against the mighty Toledo and I was not impressed. Boise would lose 3-4 games if they played an SEC schedule.

Boise is about to have serious violations rung up on them in the near future. As for playing against us and winning...not a chance.

Please God let LSU run its usual gauntlet successfully and let Boise State beat all of its chump opponents so LSU can crush Boise 42-24 or worse. Boise would be lucky if Coach Miles declined to allow Mettenberger to pile on more points in the fourth quarter.

Any team can have a great game as the other team has a terrible game. But as I predicted before the Oregon game, a team that does not play a near SEC-schedule will not win against an elite SEC team, which Georgia ain’t.

More importantly, such wannabees should not be given the chance because they did not earn it.

I have always respected Boise St. They are a damn good football team. But until they have to play 3-4 games in a row w/o half of their starters b/c of injuries, they will never be considered elite. That's what we all know makes the SEC so dominant. By the end of the season, our 2nd stringers might as well be starters and probably would be on Boise's roster.

As far as a Boise/LSU match-up? Kellen Moore doesn't want his draft stock to plummit, so he'd better be praying for this not to happen. He'd have to start charging the LSU D for the amount of times they would put him on his back.

Yep. That's part of it.

Plus, since Boise handled his mighty ducks a couple of years ago, he obviously sees this as an opportunity to legitimize Boise and make it seem like they would have beaten anyone, not just his precious ducks.

I guess he was in a coma on September 3rd and missed the game. If he had been awake, then he would have already come to terms with the fact that OREGON IS NOT ON LSU'S LEVEL.

And neither is Boise. As a matter of fact, I can't see Kellen Moore even finishing the game.

But let him keep telling himself whatever he has to so that the pain of his team losing to Boise and getting stomped by LSU goes away.

The Only reason Oregon fans say Boise is good is because they got linked in the season opener two years ago by Boise. NO offense but boise could not play with lsu for 60 minutes. We wod wear them down they wouldn't throw on our DBS either. I say if the two teams me final would be 24 10 in lsu's favor.

I think Boise is a terrible match up for LSU. I think LSU is a better team but they are not who I would want to play in the BCS Championship game.

What do you need to be able to beat LSU:
1) Poised, veteran accurate QB who relies on short timing routes
2) Defense who can stop the run
3) Experience winning big games

I think that Kellen Moore would be my least favorite QB for the LSU defense to face because of his quick decision making and accuracy.

I still think LSU probably wins but you guys are WAY underrating this Boise team and how bad of a matchup it would be.

Toledo moved the ball pretty good but missed out on points they should have gotten. Things didn't go there way. BSU is better than Toledo no doubt but not by as much as the score indicated.

LSU torches BSU. They don't look half as good as Oregon. Lets hope and pray they don't get yet another bowl matchup like the morons in power set them up with last year.

Hmmm... lets match up two teams that nobody knows how good they really are. Wouldn't want any real questions answered about BSU!

Does anyone remember Colt Brennan from Hawaii the guy was considered an amazing QB he broke all kinds of NCAA records and set more at his school, the dude could toss TD's like there was string attached to his receivers hand connected to the ball, well the mighty Brennan finally went up agaisnt a legit defense of actually Georgia when they were still playing good and were rightfully ranked at #5, well you see my point is until a guy who throws the ball as much as he does goes up against a legit defense sunch as LSU or Bama, he has proven nothing, because Toledo & Tulsa wouldnt stop Vandy...

A two loss SEC and one loss ACC, PAC, or Big 12-1-2-12 should go over an undefeated BSU. Anything else will be brutally unfair and will result in their raping, which will likely fill me with glee after probably being pretty upset they ended up there in the first place. Just my guess for the future.

JPH424,

Quit being a pussy. Just because Boise St can "supposedly" stop the run, which there is no way of really knowing because their lack of competition, doesnt mean they can stop our run game. You must forget how our defense can stop any run game Boise St. presents us.
What you are also forgetting is they speed at which our Dline can get to a qb and the size/speed of our DB's.

You are giving way to much credit to Boise St and not enough to LSU. The only reason this game would seem close is because we wouldn't be trying to score quick like the Oregons and Floridas out there. We would establish our dominance in the trenches and wear them down. We would walk away from them in the 4th, PERIOD.

I have the same argument every year with others about Boise or whoever ESPN falls in love with that year mid-major wise. No team in the country that is not in a BCS conference can win the SEC. Neither the EAST or the WEST. I will not speak about other BCS conferences, but I'm sure this statement still holds true. Fact, playing teams like LSU, MISS. St., BAMA, AUBURN, etc. over the course of the year will wear you down. Mid-Majors do not have the depth on either side of the ball to consistently win. If Moore goes down for Boise, this team would be in jeopardy. Boise can not line up and run the football facing SEC fronts every week. I will say this, since there are sometimes a month between the last regular season game and a bowl game, this would help a team like Boise rest and have a month to prepare and just play one game. One game and over the course of a season are night and day. Just ask the Pittsburgh Pirates.

But I'm not sure what Boise is supposed to do about it. They play the teams they can schedule

See, this is what they (Boise State) would like you to believe. But here's the reality: they would never schedule a matchup with Alabama, LSU, or Florida. They already bailed on us once.

They want to schedule a matchup with a Miss State, Kentucky, Georgia, etc. That way, they can gain exactly what they have this season: "we beat a team from the mighty SEC". That's what the media would like everybody to believe, that Georgia is the "mighty SEC".

That's like finding the smallest and weakest guy out of a group of guys and beating him up, so you can run around and tell everybody that since you beat that one guy's arse, you would have beaten any of them that day.

We all know what they're up to. It's just that the media is retarded and can't read between the lines on it.
