Another one of FBI's most wanted Billy Armstrong is probably getting the job.
Bob Huggins at McNeese would be wild lmao

He is too old. I'd be ok if the whole plan is to have Huggins right the ship for a short period before getting a younger coach to take over long term but Huggins isn't a long term solution. His teams are always tough as nails though.

Mcneese is perfectly fine having a great coach that can only give them 2 years. If you are a small school there is going to be a trade off.

Huggins will be 72 next season

Bob Huggins, the alcoholic, coaching in the state of Louisiana. What could go wrong

Bill's name was never mentioned in the FBI investigation. Despite the NCAA including him in the NOA, he was exonerated by the IARP in its final report.

This seems like a really bad hire

OP isn't asking if he is a good fit at McNeese, he is asking if LSU should hire him after CMM gets canned.

If you look at all of the successful coaches in basketball today and throughout the history of college basketball, most all of them are scumbags. If you want to win you have to get your hands dirty.

Huggins liver wouldn’t survive south LA

If they make this hire. Once again, the best MBB coach in the state will reside in Lake Charles, not Baton Rouge.

I know Ell, just busting the boards balls who think the FBI wanted to arrest Will Wade

CMM isn't getting canned because our administration never has and never will give a shite about MBB. We will, however, make Kim Mulkey the highest paid coach in the country in a non-revenue producing sport.

I would rather a young and up and coming guy in his mid 30s or lower 40s (max) full of excitement and energy.

I heard that they were going after Krzyzewski.
