I believe it was Bo Bounds that I heard in Jackson early in the 2009 season when the Preseason Top 10 Ole Miss Rebels (with the great Jeavan Sneed at QB) lost to South Carolina make the following statement:

"Even after the loss this is a special Ole Miss team, this is not your run-of-the-mill 9 win Ole Miss team."

A State fan (who tend to be more sensible than Ole Miss fans) quickly called and pointed out that Ole Miss's 9 win seasons could probably be counted on one hand.

Hill did in certain games....but in other games he had far fewer carries. Nothing like some of the coaches in the SEC have used their studs in the past. I think Spurrier at one point was running his stud 30+ a game....of course he got hurt too.
I'd imagine most future NFL rb's at LSU have fewer carries per game than most other future nfl backs that played for other teams in college...especially the stars.

WTF. That sounds like a complete hack.

Miles is known for not using his primary backs enough and always being a huge person of favoring heavy rotation..

Also, Fournette should do what Fournette wants to do.. It's his fricking life. He isn't above the team. He made a commitment. He is allowed to honor it.

Miles has sought out a insurance policy for Fournette. He has treated Fournette extremely well. Miles absolutely cares about his players.

You don't have to care. Frankly, I couldn't care less about what he thinks of LSU as a team, or as a contender. That's his opinion.

What is suspect though is to develop a platform to smear Miles on hurting college kids....when it's not even true. That's a different level to me. It doesn't bother you...that's cool.

Hill had under 20 carries in all but four games in his last season. This was when he was averaging more yards than any back ever in the SEC at a massive 6.9 ypc (which I can now chuckle at)

If Miles ruins backs, then I shite watermelons

that's my point...and why is pissed me off. The douche just preaches on his platform everyday now about it. It's not how great LF does....it's always how Miles abuses him, and how LF never looks to run out of bounds, always looking for contact..etc....that he will be worn down......he keeps saying everyday......3.2 year careerspan as NFL RB...and Les is decreasing that.

Hill averaged 14 carries a game over his two years here. His last year, he averaged less than 17 carries a game

Only reason I clicked on this thread is I thought Bo Bounds might be one of Bo Jackson's nicknames I hadn't heard of yet.

Tell no bounds to look at how much H walker carried it, , or No, or any other all time great that was great in the pros.....and compare that to LF

Bounds is an ignorant ducking tool and just an idiot. So we shouldn't play one of the greatest SEC backs of all time and lean on him to get touches?

He was on there yesterday saying that he still thinks OM is the favorite to win the West...with the tie-breaker over Alabama....just said OM needs to get a little healthy.

Of course, last week, he was saying that he didn't think there was a team in the country that could match up talent wise with ole miss....and that he thought they might be favored over every other team in the nation on a neutral field.

Of course you have OM fan after OM fan calling in endorsing that.....that's how they set themselves up every year. Beat a glorified high-school team, a jr college, give up 21 first downs to Vandy, and barely beat a bama team that played awful and had a fluke td and got 5 turnovers....and still only won by 6.......I think there was a song in the 80's: "Blinded by the lights"

Exactly. He should have touched the ball a lot more than he did (especially in the Ole Miss loss in 2013).

Jackson station ya know...just sucking up. He is State first, but has a lot of love for OM as well.
