No way that Stallings will be inserted into a clutch situation in the regionals/super regionals after today's loss. He will be used in middle innings when we have a big lead. Have faith Tigers...this is our year!

Spin it however you'd like but our bats were abysmal today.

He was actually the best reliever we put in today. I think it was also his first HR given up.

In all honestly, UF should have had a 3-1 lead to end the 8th. This game isn't on Stallings.

Yeah the bats and giving teams tape on how to shut down LSU was a blessing.

The good thing is they tend to bounce back after this.

Plus credit Florida's pitching. LSU absolutely tears up non great pitching. Will be exciting to see who we play.

LSU pitching gave up 2 runs in 9 innings. You can't blame this loss on pitching no matter how many ways you try to spin it.

Offense simply didn't produce today. Hopefully they got that out of their system and come out banging in the regional.

LSU really needed Poche and Bain to get one more outing before the ncaa tournament. Now you don't know what you have. You almost have to throw Poche in the 1/4 game because you can't trust him on championship Sunday.

Should have, but they didn't. Game was tied and Stallings needed to come in and get them up & down. Served up a 1-2 meatball. Bats were bad but Stallings deserves equal blame.

It's not like Florida discovered the way to beat LSU. LSU beat LSU.

They have been doing that the entire season. Go on a little win streak of a few games, and then pick a shite the bed game to not give a shite and play uninspired.

I'm worried about them doing that sometime either in the regionals or in Omaha. They're comfortable playing that way.

PM is to blame for the loss. I have a feeling he wasn't too worried about this game

Yeah, that's why the OP "blessing in disguise" regarding Stallings is pretty ridiculous.

1-0 may have won it, but unlikely. From the flow of the game, UF was challenging to score multiple times. LSU rarely threatened.

IMO, this game was meaningless except for pride and like Boat said to see Poche/Bain pitch again tomorrow for a few innings to get their confidence up - or at least see if they regrouped.

Winning the SECT isn't especially important. Those that want to cry about it also need to consider the format. LSU was in single elimination by winning every game. UF got the benefit of early double elimination.

UF relievers won that game.

We made a couple of mistakes. How often do we get 9 hits and only have one run?

I feel much better about the regionals after this week because our bullpen did outstanding this week.

Jesus. LSU won the SEC Title and is #1 team in the nation. You don't do that by going on a "little win streak" then "shite the bed". Da fuq.

We'll see.

Inconsistency is this team's weakness.

I don't know about that, he chewed Fraley's arse out pretty good after his stupid base running.
