They brought up those points because O resume is shite, and generally when you hire a shite resume you get shite results.
Dabo is an outlier.
Saban is an outlier.
He's knows all this. He repeats it because he's a liar.

Coaches and having sec home office in Birmingham

Hiring a bunch of never "have beens" in key positions such as OC does not inspire confidence. The positives I am asking for, are on the field. You can hire all the reject analysts with no experience that you want, but losing on the field/ mediocre recruiting is not the direction to 10-2.

Why even be a fan if you’re not going to talk about the team? What a shitty “fan” experience that would be.

How will QB be better?
Pretty simple. Myles Brennan is a better QB than Danny Etling. Lowell Narcisse is a better QB than Danny Etling. Myles can make all of the throws that a successful QB needs to be able to make. Danny could not. Lowell has a strong arm and can make all the throws and also tuck and run.

Also, what about RB?
With the O-line and O-line coach should be just as good as always. The improved O-line should make the rest of the offense better.

CB?
Jontre Kirklin
Kary Vincent Jr
Greedy Williams
Kristian Fulton
these guys have all played. Then you add
Kelvin Joseph
I don't know if it will be better other than Greedy will be starting for only the second season.
I liked Donte but sometimes he was as bad as he was good at others.
KTII was very good but Kary or Kristian should be able to fill in with no drop-off.

That's a good indicator that you should just shut up and enjoy the season. If you knew what you were talking about you would be on the field and not in the stands

Do you really think Troy was an isolated incident, and not a sign of things to come?

fringe idiots
How does doubting O make us “fringe idiots?” All indications are that a huge chunk—maybe even the majority—of fans have a beef with the guy. Stop acting like you’re the only smart guy in the room and actually be objective. Do you really see zero problems with hiring O so far?

Well “normal poster”, when has Bowden, Dabo or Urban been fired from an SEC schools for being a failure?

The do now. It was a running Lunatic Fringe fallacy for quite a while on this board.

The Fringe speaketh. Same old made up crap and now they go into full meltdown crying about their made-up future.

No, they are both coaches who are successful. Nothing more nothing less.

Generally losing to inferior opponents means you aren’t a good coach.
Generally ??? Name one coach walking the face of the earth that has never lost to an inferior opponent. If there is a coach that has never lost a game, you may have a point, but I seriously doubt it.

still think that Orgeron will be successful at LSU, yes you are ignorant.
So it is absolutely not possible? I want him gone but am not gonna write off next season just yet. If you're writing off the season now you need to KYS and quit wasting the same oxygen I'm breathing.

Now we just have a shite 9-4 season to complain about.
You sure do, have fun crying.
quote:
This year was not good enough. O can’t go 9-4 too many more times before he gets the ax.
Well he won't have 30+ freshmen to play this season. He played every true freshman last year except for Lowell Narcisse and only signed 23 this class, so maybe it will be better.
He also should not have to start two true freshmen on the O-line so that should make a big difference also.

So no excuses, right? 10 wins or the season is a disappointment, right?

With LSUs recent hires, it appears that he is just as qualified for an on field position as well.

Orgeron has shown no signs that he is capable of leading a team to 10-2, and any other opinion is wishful thinking.
Pretty demanding for a 1st year head coach with a 1st year OC don't you think.

If he goes 10-2 next year, then I will shut up about him
Don't do that. I'm sure you will be able to find something to cry about.

Nothing is made up. O has a losing record as a HC even after a 9-4 season. His resume is shite.
Also, can you name 5 coaches who had a history of losing records who turned out to be a great coach? Again it isn’t made up, shorty resumes usually gets you shitty results.

No, they are both coaches who are successful. Nothing more nothing less.
So Nick Saban isnt an outlier? It’s a good sign to lose to CUSA or Sun Belt teams in your first year.
Do you know what outlier means?

This is really all your argument boils down to. Sorry I don’t share your enthusiasm but I think most fans need a little more than this.
ETA: Honest question: what do you predict our record will be this year?

Both Myles Brennan and Lowell Narcisse are far more talented that Danny Etling and both have much higher ceilings.
Neither were likely a better option as true freshmen than Etling was as a senior, but as second year players I'd say there is a decent to good chance that LSU's 2018 QB play will exceed that of 2017. The jump/development from first year to second year at the collegiate level is typically large. I for one am very excited our prospects at QB.
