How is that an overreaction?

You know what the difference between LSU and Alabama is? It's not facilities, money, access to talent, or anything like that. Infrastructure wise the 2 programs are very comparable.

The difference is Alabama fans demand excellence, while at LSU we have oogles of people who accept and make excuses for mediocrity and don't see 9-4 as a bad season.

So no, it's not an overreaction.

No one can comment if they’re not a coach?

Alabama didn't get good because of fans' expectations.

Do you see the answer to your stupid question now? You posted both of the quotes above and then wonder why people laugh at the idiots on this board.

"I'm crying about shite that hasn't happened yet and probably won't. Why do people blame fans for making up shite and crying about it like it has already happened???"

This is truth. They got good because of administrative expectations, which have resulted in higher fan expectations, which now help keep the administration from lowering theirs.

Do you know how they got Saban? He had told them no already several times, but Mal Moore was told to go to Miami and not to come back without him anyway. And guess what happened? Do you think that would happen at LSU?

Players there all the time talk about the pressure they feel to be perfect and that it forces them to raise their game. That doesn't just come from inside their ops building, it comes from their community. Remember AJ Mccaron busting out crying on the sidelines after the TJ Yeldon screen pass? Go back and read his comments about it after the game.

Expectations absolutely factor into it.

Yep, Alabama is successful because of their fans not Saban nor their players. Pat yourselves on the backs, Bama fans.

Nope, it's an example of how big of idiots frequent this board. Flying off the handle only to have to shut-the-frick up when you realize you are a total idiot has nothing to do with who recommended the cried about action in the first place.

Right...that's how they STAY good.

It's how they got BACK to good multiple times after short stints of sucking.

Or...do you think it's just in the water over in Tuscaloosa?

O and E have a combined age of almost 130...while having done virtually nothing to make a fan base excited about the future success of LSU football. It’s been a horrific job by Joe Alleva, who has ALOT of questions to answer. It better be an obviously successful season for several people to keep their jobs.

Well, people who are not emotionally fragile realize that LSU had a 1st year head coach, a 1st year OC and played over 30 freshmen with 12 starting. Including 2 true freshmen on the O-line for the majority of the season.

So yes, it is an overreaction.

The arraogance to which these morons base their opinions on how bad things are and are going to be is what irks me.
They won't even take the wait and see approach.

As you said It's been one year.
Majority of these same people were ok with Os effort after les was fired.
Not to mention Steve's offensive production.

Yes. These delusional sheep expect everything to be turned positive regardless of the facts.

Proof is when Orgeron was hired at LSU, they were comparing him to Dabo and Saban.

Honestly...we're lucky to have won one game all year, what with THOSE kinds of obstacles the great and powerful Orgeron had to face. Frankly, looking back, he ought to have been coach of the year and won a Nobel Coaching Prize or something.

My bad...I take it all back. He literally saved the entire program from total and complete collapse.
