SEC refs suck...
I watch alot of college Bball and the SEC refs suck, they are not good at their job.
But that is only 1 part of the story. Hard to win games when your starting backcourt can't throw it in the ocean.

The complaint of the rant is not that refs miss calls. The complaint is that the refs consistently miss calls more frequently in one direction than the other. If you haven’t seen that this season, you haven’t been watching.
Now there is of course more we could have done to overcome that hurdle, not trying excuse every failure of the team as being the fault of the refs. But acknowledging that the officiating is changing the outcome of multiple games is absolutely fair given what we have seen this year.

This comment tells me that the OP is exactly right

A fair amount of the time IT IS the teacher's fault. Some teachers don't give a crap about teaching anything, they are just there for the paycheck.
You are like so many that can't bring themselves to believe actual cheating goes on. Well it does. All the time.

i'm not blaming the refs. LSU has to shoot better than 33% from the field against arkansas. if they hit their shots and even a few more % points higher, they win the game. that's not on the refs. make your shots.
Now do Arkansas. If Arkansas had just shot better they wouldn't have needed assistance from the refs.

Tell me you don’t watch any of the games without telling me you don’t watch any of the games. Shut the frick up

I watched the last 3 minutes and it was the second game I have watched this year. I saw 2 bad shot choices (easy to see from the couch) and 2 horrible calls- even the other teams fans talked about it. The calls resulted in a 5 point swing and the TIGERS lost by 1 right? Yeah, I'd say the zebras blew it again.
What I do see consistently year after year is bleacher players still trying to tell a coach and 18-20yr olds how to play a game while they observe from a distance.

In SEC play only, we have had players foul out of games 20 times. Our opponents have had only 3 players foul out total.
Does that look like something that has evened out????

And what are you the teacher who hits a kid with a ruler and blames the kid?
Wade is not the problem, hes proven time and time again that he is a good recruiter and coach. I think you and his critics underestimate what he has done since becoming our Coach.
We have not had sustained success on the basketball court and he has turned around a dormant program. You will never be happy with a good coach, your hatred and displeasure for Wade proves that.

No I’m not
I saw calls against Arkansas last night that were questionable and some that were not made against us
The only one I thought was bull crap and agregiius was the hooking call at the end

But but but the refs are out to get him sooooooo what’s your solution? Get new refs?

The only reasonable thing to ask for, is that if it's a foul in the last minute of the game, then it's a foul in the first minute of the game.
What happens all too often is that referees officiate differently depending on the spot in the game.
That happens to far more teams than LSU, in many different sports.

Simply not true
I was all about wade when he got hired. His record was solid and clearly a coach on the ascent. He’s had his time to get us where he wants to be which is a championship caliber team. These are his kids.
After last nights game, it just looked like a team that has good player but undisciplined. That’s on coaching. It’s not the refs.
Wade seems to be the guy that wants to be tough on the refs but is he tough on the players? He should be.
And there is a way to handle bad reffing. Notify the league. Has he done that?

It doesn't even out...the team behind all game...won by 1 point...and shot 9 more free throws.
Posted on 3/3/22 at 11:37 am to SlidellCajun
It's not the refs fault that we're undisciplined.....we should have beaten Arky by 10 pts with that offensive rebounding edge.....but......we shoot ourselves in the foot with stupid fouls.....

If I can, from memory, recollect at least 10 absolute bullshite calls/missed calls then we aren't dealing with typical cbb or "some" bad calls.

It's funny you never see them talking about the calls LSU got away with. That's what this new culture is all about. Excuses, no accountability. I remember coaches I had growing up were all about no excuses, just get it done. This young generation is so soft.
