I see the wade fanboys always blaming refs. Like they’re out to get Wade or something.

What I see is typical college basketball.
Some calls missed, some made and some questionable but in the end, it evens out .

The problem with blaming the refs is like the helicopter mom that always blames the teacher for the bad grades. The kid gets C’s and it’s the teachers fault. Nope,
Your kid didn’t prepare or maybe they’re just not real smart.

I see some undisciplined players on out team. They make some bad decisions.

And If it’s true that the refs are out to get Wade then it’s definitely time to move on and get a coach that the refs like. They’re not going anywhere after all.

it's pretty obvious that the refs are biased against LSU this year and the foul disparity backs that up I feel like.

HOWEVER the refs don't control LSU making or missing shots. that's the one thing LSU can control and they couldn't make shots at a high clip last night. especially pinson who went 5-21. that's not the refs fault, that's on the player.

It’s true. These fanboys are the same ones always blaming the refs in football too. It always always the refs fault. It’s never our players’ failure to execute. Just blame the refs bc LSU is perfect.

Jesus H. There are hundreds of teams that swear the refs are out to get them. This is just as dumb as saying the announcers hate us.

Refs are awful at their jobs. It’s a job that is impossible to be good at. They’re not “targeting” any teams, they just suck.

ETA:

I admit I didn’t read this part:

This is correct.

Refs have made terrible calls consistently against LSU.

LSU mistakes have made it harder to overcome those bad calls.

Both can be true.

But on the road in that environment against the hottest team in the country every bad call is magnified as is every bad play.

I'm not BLAMING the refs for that loss but they sure did contribute to it. I was more upset with the score at the end of the first half with one second left. But then it was a bad call that gave ARK that shot with one second left. Goes both ways.

I don't think it's crazy to think that the powers that be in the SEC have sent a memo out regarding will wade. he ain't in the club. the double digit foul disparity in nearly every game on so many questionable calls has become laughable all year. yes, the refs are bad at their jobs but it sure does seem like they are executing a message sent to them regarding wade.

It really is this simple. We can be bad at closing and the refs can frick us time and again. They aren't mutually exclusive.

Because LSU started 15-0, it will always be something else other than the coach & players.

First it was the refs, then injuries, now it’s the refs again.

LSU is about to finish 8-10 & like 9th in the SEC & they still can’t see what this team is lol

uh no, it ABSOLUTELY IS crazy if you think this occurred.

I mean, it's just so far beyond reality that I can't even fathom how any rational person could believe it's true.

How do you say “but in the end it evens out”

It doesn’t even out.

They got out on the line down 1 after they traveled.

“Williams fouled out”

He spends every game blocking and getting charging fouls called. 2 of those out Eason and Pinson in foul trouble.

That’s not evening out.

Exactly. This team played everyone for fools. This is just another decent, “just happy to make the tournament” team that finds ways to play themselves out of close games.

Not saying we can’t be better, and I’m not saying we can’t be better with Will Wade, but this was not a team that was one or two breaks away from a final four. They just weren’t there yet.

This.

Also, when you have bad officiating, it makes you more tentative to drive, changes how you play. It also becomes demoralizing, you can see this by the body language of some of our guys towards the end of the game.

So both are true, but it’s really the refs? Seems to be your explanation.

"Why doesn't this team drive to the rim more?! Take high percentage shots!"

"Why is Pinson so out of control going to the rim?! Stop fouling!"

"Why is everyone complaining about the refs?!"

Repeat.

Have you never played a competitive game with refs that seem to call you for more stuff than the other team? That absolutely will affect how you play.

It's not excusing the poor play, and not all of our poor play has to do with how we are officiated.

Only retard contrarians think the officiating hasn't been a problem in SEC play.

OP is a retard contrarian.

i'm not blaming the refs. LSU has to shoot better than 33% from the field against arkansas. if they hit their shots and even a few more % points higher, they win the game. that's not on the refs. make your shots.
