Yes, a new contract with a raise and he agreed to it (but the guy was careful to not say he's signed it).

In what world is TULANE a top 25 job in college football? These people are getting way too uppity. I'm not even being a Tulane hater, it's just the truth. All SEC jobs and most of the Big 10 are better than Tulane, and that's 25 teams right there. Not even taking into consideration other places outside those conferences....

Man, I hope he stays. More jobs will be open to him a few years down the road. I know being his alma mater is tempting and they have a solid team, I don't know if it's time. How many season has he been a DC? 5?

Stay Blake. Learn from Lane. He will make you a better a DC and you see an offensive genius at work everyday. Stay and your first HC job in 2 or 3 years is something like Florida State or Tennessee.

This. It’s more like Top 40-50, and that’s actually very good for any G5 program in 2025. USF and Memphis are right there in that same neighborhood.

I know Baker has become popular, but to me he is very replaceable. We added a ton of talent in the portal this past season. I didn't see Baker really develop a whole lot of guys. The defense was good but not spectacular.
