Wife and I are blessed with well paying jobs, so we have been donating $100 per month.

Granted, it’s split between football, baseball, and both basketball teams. But if there’s 1,000 families like us, who can easily afford $100/month, then that’s an extra $1.2 Mil per year in just NIL.

Great job BK, hopefully that springs the other coaches to pitch in 10% of their salary to entice more donors in other sports.

This…

I am all about donating to LSU, but not in this situation. The portal has ruined pride in your team

I do agree that NIL and unlimited transfers are hurting CFB but also understand it’s the current structure we live in. Whats the alternative? So if I want LSU to field a competitive team during the era, then I feel I need to do my part. Doesn’t mean I agree with it, if that makes sense.
it makes sense. It’s a little old philosophy known as, “if you can’t beat them join them.”

Disagree. At least the way it is structured now which is to say there is no structure.

With our million plus BK's million we're 1/5th-ish of the way to a starting QB
You do know public collections can go past 1 million don't you?

That's BS you should be giving $100 a month to each of those sports.

J/K, that's awesome.

Perhaps, but that's an ancillary problem. The primary culprit is the Unlimited Transfer portal. That has to be fixed.

Same here. BLM in 2020 and now portal/nil. My passion is 1/10th of what it was.

I donated last week and plan to regularly. It’s a hell of a lot better ROI than giving to a politician.

I didn’t see a monthly re-occurring option which was kind of annoying, so I’ll just have to remember to go in and donate monthly.

Those 2 things are not mutually exclusive. I hate the current environment, but will make a small donation to help our team get better players.

So you prefer we suck at sports for the next few years? Complaining is understandable. But we can give a little to help field a good team even if the current environment is screwed up.

BK is feeling the heat a little after another lackluster year, not being engaged and people questioning his work ethic...
Should hold Woody accountable and then BK. But neither will happen. Both are over paid, not too engaged except photo ops and the normal press "topucs" and under performing in FB the money maker.

1.2 M$.....that will get you an average QB these days, and the price is going UP!

Bk feeling the heat after another lackluster year, not being engaged, having his work ethic questioned along with his hands off coaching until a 3 game losing streak.
Does he even know his own players, do they know him? All in all it's a olive branch for good optics.
Woody and him both need to be held accountable for year 3 underperforming in FB.
Yet neither will be too much guaranteed money for BK and Woody doesn't want to look like he made another below average hire in FB. Only good one was Peterson at Washington.
