No holds barred, feast or famine, rolling the dice, the window of opportunity is upon him . Finally he will have a second unit on both sides of the ball with experience that he can plug in .

We need two safeties to make it to the playoff.

I don’t see anyone on our schedule with 75% of the talent we have.

Unlikely

With NIL you’re better off avoiding the buyout and just getting better players

everyone should get better at learning how to play the NIL game as time goes on, definitely a work in progress, you're probably spot on but they still need to do the coaching part

If he doesn’t make the playoffs, he’s gone. I doubt you are going to pay that large buyout; I know LSU can't afford to either. So no, he won't be gone.

But I bet that sounded good in your head to say that he's gone.

Gonna be year that will define his tenure one way or another.

9-3 and at least in the playoff discussion all the way to the end is the minimum to avoid a red hot seat. 10-2 with a playoff berth to get some favorable momentum with the fan base.

Schedule is favorable for us

6-1 in the first 7 game stretch is doable and needed but we need to buck the trend and come out hot vs Clemson

@Clemson
LA Tech
Florida
Southeastern
@Ole Miss
South Carolina
@Vanderbilt

Then we just need to go 4-1 in the following which is also doable

A&M
@Alabama
Arkansas
Western Kentucky
@Oklahoma

Well he better get his head out of his own a$$ and prepare this team for its season opener. Starting 1-0 would help things tremendously.

Hell had we not lost to USCe, we would have been 9-3 and in the same talks about Bama, Ole Miss, USCw.

This is because fans, mostly, have no clue how good our team really is compared to everyone else in the country. We just look at our own team and the nice stuff we have and think it's the best, when it might not be.

That defense needs to improve significantly.

I thought Baker did a good job. But, at times, you can see how easy it is for quality passing attacks to go right through us.

Even with our additions, I view our potential as a playoff team that will fall to one of the handful of elite teams.

Offensively, I think we will be as good as anyone. Adding another starter on the OL would be helpful.

He still doesn't have a ST Coach, which has cost him 1-2games a year.
He needs to be hands on all year not just after a 3 game losing streak vs inferior competition.
Can't start every year with a Game 1 loss...
w
Those are the obvious things BK has to do/correct prior to having Playoff discussions.

Nope. Revenue sharing starts in ‘25-26 athletic year. That’s $20M going to the athletes and out of the budget. It’s why Napier got a vote of confidence midway through the year and Sam Pittman is returning to Arky. Kelly is here for another 3, maybe 4 seasons minimum, for better or for worse.

This is the first season we've been near the top in HS recruiting and the portal. He's going to add 1-2 safeties. I have no doubt.

And for the love of all that's holy, he has to get a good ST coach. Whatever it costs.

He knows he has to get this team to the playoffs next season or the fanbase, alums and admin are going to turn on him.
