Agree. It’s like every revelation of something needing to be fixed is after the fact (a loss).

No I read what you said,

I just disagree.

A&M wasn’t a good team playing poorly.

They were a bad team.

Oh, OK, so you were just wrong.

they were 1-6 in the SEC 4-7 before they played us.

A&M 2022 game was very similar to A&M 2024 game.

To start 2nd half, LSU forced 3 and out, scored TD, forced a 2nd 3 and out and looked to be on verge of taking over and then the Jayden Daniels injury/fumble/scoop and score occurred, brought life to the A&M crowd, and flipped the momentum. The LSU wheels then fell off and Achane ran it down our throats.

He’s actually due for a stinker (or two or three) a year so far. Even if we win some of them, we play absolutely horrible.

I dont think so.

you were the one who described a 5-7 as effectively “a good team playing poorly until that point. ”

they lost to App State
they lost to 5-7 Auburn
They lost to 6-7 Florida.

their 5 wins were

Sam Houston
5-7 Miami
7-6 Arkansas
UMass and
10-4 LSU.

FSU went 23-4 those 2 years though.

A&M was a bad team, late in the year where we should have been getting better.

stabilized the program
"stabilizing the program" isn't what we're paying $10 million for. We're paying for seriously being in the mix for championships most years.

Now if we can get into the playoff this year (which I don't think will happen), that would be a good first step.

But merely stabilizing the program is not a standard by which BK is to be judged - not at $10 mil per year.

I understand but LSU still looks worse than a lot of other teams. Yes, there are no truly dominant teams but LSU looks bad on defense and plays conservative on offense. Honestly, nobody really expects LSU to win big games anymore.

BK always looks utterly dazed and confused on the sideline. He looks helpless when the team is struggling. The game may have passed him by.

What coach doesn't have a bad loss per year?

Kirby?

I'm not arguing with you but just saying this loss looks worse every weekend that passes. USCw is a dumpster fire.
