“There’s a lot to take away from the last two years,” began Ojulari. “I’ll say Coach O — he did an amazing job coaching us. We had a great, great staff, both years in my opinion.”

“But as a high level player, we just have to take away what we did wrong during the season and implement it into this season so we don’t make the same mistakes.”

quote:

“Graduate champions is a big motto for us now,” said Ojulari. “We take academics more seriously. As soon as coach Kelly came in, we raised out GPA by a certain amount of points – I don’t know the exact number – but the Spring semester was a great improvement in our team GPA. He’s definitely pushing academics on us. I know for a lot of guys, academics is very important in their families.”

The more that leaks out about Orgeron's time here makes me wonder how 2019 ever happened

I'll be forever thankful for it, but it was clearly the exception and not the rule.

depends on who you ask

almost anyone on the planet that pays attention: complete accident

the loyal legion of O-Bots: 2019 is his normal. every other year of his career has been an anomaly or someone else's fault.

Ojulari has too much class to throw coach O under the bus

They’re not going to throw shade at O but from hearing players talk you can tell it was a very chill environment that goes for conditioning to academics the guy just didn’t care and it showed on the field.. Imagine a coach that allowed players to dictate when and when not they felt like playing like wtf.. Especially the whole John Emery academic situation

Look, O and his backstabbing machinations did two things:

1) Undermined and killed Les. There were people who wanted to keep him for another 20 years.

2) Brought us the greatest season of all time.

I will always be grateful for these. He moved us out of a rut. But he had no clue how to manage an organization of this magnitude.

Burrow, Brady, Aranda CEH, JJ, JC, Marshal.
All O had to do was to stay out of the way

Anyone who doesn’t shout out “Joe, Joe, Joe”, is playing with a few cards short of a full deck. imo

National championship or not, Coach O should have never been given the keys to the car Nick and Les left. It made absolutely no sense

Yep, out of a rut and right over a cliff.

I have to agree with this. That situation never should have happened.

His first statement was trying to be nice. We had some of the worst staffs anyone has put together following our champ season.

Well yeah, even Stevie Wonder can see things were a mess under O at the end. As true and as obvious as that is, I never want to see an LSU player drag an LSU coach publicly.

Play nice, give props, respect and thanks, and look forward.

You still refuse to acknowledge Coach E
Why the narrow minded recollection?
