I don’t believe it can be stated enough, but Kelly has truly 180’d the culture in 7.5ish months. You can tell the team is truly a “team” once again. They all love and support each other.

I think Kelley is he real deal, but I do not know if he has changed the culture completely , with all the players.
That would be almost impossible.
And, in particular, awarding the No. 7 jersey to Boutte, who just yesterday reconfirmed that he was threatening transfer in January (to Bama) unless he got some major cheese, tells me there is still work to be done.
Ojulari, on the other hand, is quite deserving and has always been a loyal teammate.
Congrats, BJ!

He's a special human being not to even begin to mention such an outstanding player. Wow! I'm thrilled...

“7” is awarded to the best player from the state of Louisiana… I think that is a new tradition from BK. I also think this board reads way too much into what Boutte says.

I would tell team that if 7 or 18 opt out the tradition ends

He wanted money like others are getting.

Nothing wrong with that

Compared to what it was under O, it’s a 180 in my eyes.

I’m glad those numbers are going to really good players again. I feel like #7 and #18 started because the guys who wore them were animals and lately it’s been too focused on “senior leadership” etc. especially under O and his good ole boy shite.

I feel like the decision making process on handing them out should be 75% “who are the best 2 players on the team” and 25% “whether they embody the values that those numbers have come to represent”.
