People, he has turned down better jobs than LSU. This university is in shambles and everybody out side of BR knows it. He won’t even interview.

Underperformed according to who?
You think ULL is that much more talented than the teams they play?

Vegas, they were large favorites in most of their games and barely squeaked by in most of them. In the sunbelt, yeap, they hold a large talent advantage. If I’m trying to grade a coach at that level, I look for someone who is innovative/vastly outperforms expectations. Napier checks neither box.

Not at all

Kiffin took an fau profram that had 3 consecutive 3-9 seasons and turned them into a 10 win season and then an 11 win season.

Also had the most talent in the conference when he took over

quote:

As another poster alluded Frost took over a winless fricking program

Ucf had one bad season after years of success and was most talented team in the conference

quote:

Let's see how Kiffin does at ole miss this year compared to Napier at ULL because I'd say on paper they are about even - although I think Kiffin is one of the best offensive minds in college football.

I agree. I like kitten, but don't think he is raising due to pr issues.

I just don't think he is some sure fire can't miss or he is some how above any form of failure.

But as I pointed out in the team talent rankings, your whole point is completely false. It's wrong period.

Not covering the spread is not the same as put performing based on talent and no they haven't had a talent advantage in hardly any games they lost.

Really? Title 11? Tell us more.

He is correct. This subject was the topic of conversation on local radio Sunday. Orgeron will get fired for losing too many games, but LSU will use the Title XI investigation to show "cause" and let Orgeron sue LSU. See James Craig

i would gladly take Napier over O at the moment. But in reality imo to say he "wants LSU or Bama" he needs to have another outstanding season. It just isnt realistic to EXPECT to make a leap from ULL straight to Bama.

You can't cure stupid. Hugh uses an employer-issued phone to set up appts. with hookers! And charged their services on employer-issued credit cards. How dumb must he be? The last thing LSU needs is to hire a "john" to run the major athletic program at LSU. Are you kidding me? LSU is not finished with the Title IX mess and the optics of hiring an adulterous dumbass who some believe exploits women would make LSU a national laughingstock. I want to win games too, but we gotta have some boundaries!

Billy Napier

LoL

The last time LSU hired a coach without head coach experience at the P5 level was Curley Hallman.

Woodward IS NOT going from grabbing BCS champ Jimbo Fisher at his last job, to hiring a G5 coach at his current job.

Can you really be this obtuse?

It’s not Title XI, which is 11 in Roman numerals.

It’s Title IX, which is 9 and is also apparently your IQ.

plenty rumors are actually true.

Now some people get lucky, throwing shite until it sticks, but not all of its bs. Just saying.

UL-L ever beat an SEC team in it's history, regardless of who the coach was? I'll save you the effort of googling it.

Didn't ULL beat Texas A&M years ago?

Hiring the UL coach would be so anti-climatic after his last 2 hires were Jimbo and Chris Peterson

Guess who's available.

Sorry to bust your bubble but Chris Peterson is not available. He not going to leave the Pacific Northwest.

I will admit that I'm wrong if it does happen but until then don't hold your breathe.

Don't think he would come here or even be successful here, but Chris Peterson is available; he resigned from UW in 2019
