This time I hope our AD sticks to his guns and hires his man instead of listening to the crying mob and prevent us from turning into Tennessee.
Everyone needs to understand who O’Brien is as a coach. Not a GM. But a college football coach.

Schiano got a raw deal.
He was a graduate assistant at Penn State for one year. Nobody in their right mind would believe they let a graduate assistant in on Sandusky's activities.

Wasn’t good at Penn State? Walked into a complete dumpster fire as well as the ncaa allowing open transfer policy and kept the team together. Is well established as one of the best coaching jobs of the decade.

Bill O'Brien is a good coach and obviously he has experience running a program. The thing I'd worry about with O'Brien is the lure of the NFL. He was there for a long time. You have to wonder how passionate he'd be about recruiting at his age. But the guy is a good coach, no doubt about it

Not everything is a statistic. If you can’t tell a good coach from a bad one by just watching how the team plays, you suck.

I know everyone is ready to get rid of O, but as someone who lived in Houston during the BoB years I can tell you this guy is not the answer. He would be at the bottom of my list.

Not saying bill is who I like but LSU has been it’s best when having coaches on staff that others were trying to hire.
