Because LSU is much better than what showed up against Tennessee today. That opening kickoff compounded by dumb shite fourth down calls doomed the team.

Biggest mystery is consistency, we have no idea how to be consistent!

This is a mystery that even the late great Robert Stack couldn’t even solve

Well beings the other WRs manage to get wide open an get the ball I would imagine it has something to do with effort but maybe I’m wrong. I know I seen them try an force him the ball with zero separation from the defender a couple times today

Our offensive plan(do we have one)?Time for a chat with Denbrock and find out just what his vision is.Remember BK fired him once before.LSU has way to much talent , especially at the WR position to run such a pedestrian offense.Did they have an big plays today? Why did they bring Cain here?Today was very tough to watch??

It’s easy for some to shrug off huge moments like that as just part of the game, but that opening sequence allowed Tennessee to play loose and aggressive on both sides of the ball all game while LSU had to fight out of that hole. It was a huge factor in how the whole game played out.

When we had finally seemed to get some momentum, got the TD and another stop, we had a chance to go into halftime down 20-10, or even better, but bad coaching calls ended up costing us the points.

UT ended up getting 3 before half, and took the opening half possession for 7, so instead of 20-10, we didn’t get the ball back until it was 30-7.

Just massive mistakes and mismanagement that honestly would have been incredible to overcome.

Tennessee is a good team and they made us pay for every mistake, while we never made them pay for any that they made. We just made it easy for them all day.

I definitely think it would have played out differently if Bech doesn’t muff that kick or even just let’s it go and possibly go out of bounds setting us up with field position to start the game.

But good teams bounce back, and no time to dwell for this team and staff, because another bad showing against a much weaker Florida team will truly have the sky falling in BR.

Come out and get a win in The Swamp and a lot of fears will be eased.

Huge week for Kelly and what he’s trying to build.

Agree with your entire post except for this. You can't let that kick hit the ground. Tennessee players were right on top of him, and if it stays in, it's a free ball. He made the right decision, just has to catch the ball.

We go 2/3 on 4th downs and Tenn converts 1 less and we likely have a close game

Ah you are absolutely right

Couldn’t actually remember how close it was to the sideline or the angle it was coming at.

Why they would try to get the ball to boutte he’s given a half arse effort all season. I’ve seen 2 catches by no names in the FSU game in the same drive that’s currently on.

He is making the big bucks from Gordon but he ain’t getting it done.

He’d have sat on the bench next the ricks had he gone to bama
