The K’s aren’t overly impressive to what a lot of guys are doing these days but 55 hits allowed is great

You're not very smart. You say he is a projected 3rd rounder, right?
So if he comes to lsu(sec) and has a great year then he could be a 1st rounder, right?

Who cares if he comes to lsu and puts up the same numbers and is a 3rd rounder. That would be great.
I'm just glad Jay didn't sit on his hands and is grabbing dudes that want to compete. Yamin and this kid should perform well imo.

Exactly. When I saw the .190 BA against, I knew there’s something to his game that has a lot of potential. One walk every 4+ innings is about as good as you can ask for too

Yeah, you just beat me to a couple of stats...but a little more detail. In 2023, the BA against him was .257 and brought it down as you said in 2024 to .190. Same with hits...gave up 29 hits in 29 IP in 2023...this past season only 55 in 82 IP. His ERA is 2023 was 4.3...this season 3.1. And as you mentioned, walks has been a major issue for some LSU pitchers...especially some that hit the portal. In 2023, he gave up only 8 BB in 29 IP...this season only 24 in those 82 IP. I have no idea what the competition was he was facing but going by ERA, BA, and WHIP, he would have been right at the top of the LSU staff by stats alone.

He didn't say he was a sure fire 1st day pick. He said 1st day draft potential. Nothing he said was incorrect at all.
You seem to be nitpicking. You also seem a little pissed off for some reason.
