You’re one of the top 3 worst posters on this site and that is saying something. Also everyone saying BK will get fired if we don’t make the playoffs please tell me who we would even hire. Not really a ton of up and coming proven coaches which you all demand LSU hire.

It’s like some posters here are actively rooting against their “favorite” team just to have a gotcha Sunday morning, strange behavior.

They’re loser pieces of shite, here and in life.

I believe OU won one as well in the early 2000s.

Losing to Clemson doesn’t guarantee anything. You people are mental

It would mean that Brian Kelly has failed to win an opener for his fourth straight season. The fan base will absolutely lose faith and annihilate Kelly.

But yeah, it may not “guarantee” anything, but the pressure on Kelly for the rest of the season if he loses this game will be immense.

Just curious, how did you quantify this? Where you getting your financial information?

OR, are you just talking out of your arse because you believe this to be true??

I think I know the answer

I'd say losing this game doesn't feel the same as losing to UCLA, FSU, & USC. We were favored in all of those games and felt like we SHOULD have won each of them. This year is different, Clemson is seen as a playoff lock & most have them competing for a title. Losing would absolutely suck, but its definitely not the end of the season if it happens. I think it will have a lot to do with how we lose, if we do. If we fall apart and get boat raced, there's a reason to panic.

Except if we go on again to lose another two games, which is much more likely if we lose the first one.

Then, guess what, it is the same. We'll be 9-3 and again on the outside looking in at the playoffs.

For me these years are starting to feel like the end with Les Miles. Just no confidence in the coaching staff. Hope I'm as wrong as the OP. But that's where I'm at.

9-3 not going to get you into the playoff unless a bunch of upsets happen across the board but 9-3 likely eliminates you which would be a tough pill to swallow if we lose to Clemson to open the season and we fall short of 10 wins.

Kelly will lose to Clemson because it’s a difficult away game to start the season and he sucks in openers.

The game though is meaningless if LSU can go 10-1 or better to close the regular season.

So what? LSU has won 3 National Championships since the BCS era & also played for a 4th title in 2012. What’s your point? The SEC will always have multiple challengers for the Ship every year. LSU will continue to compete with all of the teams that you mentioned for another title. Quit being a bleeding vagina.

So many of these pussy comments and threads already… the season hasn’t even begun.

Literally makes me miss the tried & true QB#1 vs QB#2 threads.

Now the board is full of mental midgets roaring, "year 3," "can't win an opener."

I remember LSU 20 vs Kansas State 42 & then K-state trolling the rant.

Tards, you can't take a long trip with a 1/4 tank.
Tards, you can't make chicken salad without all the ingredients. (years 1-3)
Tards, LSU doesn't recruit itself the way you think it does.
Tards, please stick to your day job, you're probably pretty good at that. When it comes to football you're not smarter than the waterboy.
Tards, Don't believe the off-season hype train, want to believe it!

opener choke and the season being over after week 1

This statement has never been more false. A week 1 loss to a non-conference opponent, on the road, in the 12 team playoff era means absolutely nothing in the course of the season.
