don't know her but i can only imagine. King was gatorade POY in florida but she originally signed with maryland. Hanson would have come to FSU as a freshie but did not want to RS so she went to FAU.

There is a very good pitcher from FIU who wants to transfer but the coaches are making It hard for her right now. Not sure if LSU would be a school of interest but she definitely had interest in Florida and FSU.

If Torina leaves we hire Tyra Perry immediately! LSU All American won conference titles at Western Kentucky, Ball State and finished second in Big 10 at Illinois in her second year there. Disclosure: She's a Zachary High graduate and one of my former students

I think we are safe. I would have been worried if Walton had bolted for Texas and the Florida job came open. Not only is it her alma mater, but the current AD at Florida tried to hire Torina when he was at Mississippi State...but she took the LSU job instead. I think Torina would have been number 1 on Florida's list...but that won't be an issue any more.
